Tulane University School of Medicine

Charity Hospital was one of two teaching hospitals which were part of the Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans (MCLNO), the other being University Hospital. Three weeks after the events of Hurricane Katrina, then-Governor Kathleen Blanco said that Charity Hospital would not reopen as a functioning hospital. The Louisiana State University System, which owns the building, stated that it had no plans to reopen the hospital in its original location. It chose to incorporate Charity Hospital into the city's new medical center in the lower Mid-City neighborhood. The new hospital completed in August 2015 was named University Medical Center New Orleans.

The Tulane Medical Center is a hospital located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Tulane Medical Center has centers covering nearly all major specialties of medicine, and is the primary teaching hospital for the Tulane University School of Medicine. The hospital is jointly owned by Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) (82.5%) and Tulane University (17.5%). Tulane University and LCMC announced on October 10, 2022, that LCMC would purchase Tulane Medical Center (along with Lakeview Regional Medical Center, and Tulane Lakeside Hospital) from HCA for $150 Million.

The New Orleans Public Library (NOPL) is the public library of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Succeeding earlier libraries in the city, it opened in 1897. Three branches were added by 1908. Carnegie library branches were added in 1911 and 1915. By 2005 a dozen branches were open. The main library is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

A bust of John McDonogh was installed in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States in 1938, as part of the Federal Art Project. It was created by Angela Gregory, a New Orleans native, and was erected at what was designated "McDonogh Place", a small park in Uptown New Orleans at St. Charles Avenue and Toledano Street. In 1958, it was moved to Duncan Plaza by the new City Hall. The artwork was surveyed by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1993.The sculpture was torn down by protesters on June 13, 2020, and rolled into the Mississippi River. The mayor of New Orleans, LaToya Cantrell, condemned the act on Twitter, calling it "unlawful". The bust was retrieved from the river a couple days later, and returned it to city officials.

Tulane University School of Social Work is the social work school of Tulane University. The school is located on Tulane's Downtown New Orleans campus at 127 Elk Place. TSSW is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

WWOZ (90.7 FM) is a non-profit community-supported radio station in New Orleans. It is owned by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. The station specializes in music from or relating to the cultural heritage of New Orleans and the surrounding region of Louisiana. The playlist includes jazz, blues, local, regional and world music. The studios and offices are on North Peters Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The transmitter is on Canal Street at Lasalle Street atop a Tulane University building.

The Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is part of Tulane University, located in New Orleans, in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

The Oil and Gas Building, or Oil & Gas Building, is a 14-story building, completed in 1959, at 1100 Tulane Avenue in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States. Its original architects were August Perez / Edward B. Silverstein. It is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was mostly vacant by 2003 and largely abandoned until purchased by a Maryland-based company in 2013 for a reported $7 million. A mixed-use residential property was originally envisioned, with loft apartments catering to employees of the nearby LSU Medical complex. Canopy by Hilton has now developed a hotel/restaurant property in the building which opened on March 28, 2022. Now known as Canopy By Hilton New Orleans Downtown.

State Palace Theatre is a performing arts venue located in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. It is located at the uptown lake corner of Canal Street and Rampart Street. The Saenger Theater is directly opposite the State Palace on Canal Street. The theatre was constructed in 1926 for the Loew's Theatre circuit. It had a seating capacity of 3,335 and also contained a 3/13 Robert Morton organ. Lew Cody, Buster Keaton, Jack Mulhall, Dorothy Mackaill, Conrad Nagel, Dorothy Phillips, Lloyd Hamilton, and Dorothy Mason were among the stars who appeared on stage with Marcus Loew when the theatre opened on Easter Sunday, April 3, 1926. It was named simply, State Theatre. The theatre showed silent films and hosted many live performances in the early days. As time went on, the silent films were replaced with talking pictures and eventually the prized 3/13 Robert Morton organ was destroyed in a flood. In 1976, the State Theatre was tripled. After closing as a movie house in the late-1980s, the partition was removed, and the State Theatre was restored and renamed, as the State Palace Theatre, showing classic movies and offering concerts. The State Palace Theater was the epicenter of the southern rave scene in the mid-1990s hosting the world's top DJs. The documentary "Rise: Story of Rave Outlaw Disco Donnie" highlights the rave scene at the State Palace Theater. The theater flooded in 2005's Hurricane Katrina levee failure disaster. Some clean-up was done, allowing it to open for a few raves through 2007; but the building was in need of serious renovation and was closed by the fire marshal after it was sold to new owners.

1010 Common (formerly the Bank of New Orleans Building), located at 1010 Common Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 31-story skyscraper. The building, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and completed in 1970, is an example of the international style typical of the time. It is located adjacent to the 14-story Latter Center Garage & Annex. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

1615 Poydras, also known as DXC Technology Center, and formerly known as the Freeport McMoRan building, is a 23-story, 276-foot (84 m)-tall skyscraper office building. It is located at 1615 Poydras Street, in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Benson Tower (formerly Dominion Tower and the CNG Tower), located at 1450 Poydras Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 26-story, 406 feet (124 m)-tall skyscraper. The building was purchased by late New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson on September 15, 2009 and renamed the Benson Tower. In 2012, Ochsner Health System moved executives and as many as 750 administrative employees to the top four floors as well as the 2nd and 3rd floor space with balconies overlooking Champions Square and the Caesars Superdome; second floor space is utilized for Benson's television station, Fox affiliate WVUE (Channel 8) for the station's morning newscast, sporting events and by lease for other parties. According to Corporate Realty, which leases the 487,760 sq ft (45,314 m2) building, as of August 2012, Benson Tower is more than 97.6% leased.
