Narre Warren South College is a school in Narre Warren South, Victoria, Australia. Narre Warren South P–12 College commenced operations in 2002 but was not officially opened until 2007. The prep to twelve college actually began as a prep to year seven school in 2002 and it was not until 2007 (when it was officially opened) that the college went to year 12. The college is broken up into two sections, primary years (prep to grade 6), secondary years (7–12). Each sub-school has a coordinator and a leader's council that deals with the day-to-day workings of each year. As well as VCE, the school is also a strong endorsee of VCAL and provides that option for all students entering year 12. The college is recognized for its outstanding VCE results, having attained median VCE study scores of 33 in 2020, and 32 in the years previously. It has also won 30 VCAL State Achievement Awards. In 2016, the college placed second in the state in the Junior Division of Battle of the Bands. Since 2017, the college has been recognized as a DET "Influence" school because of its consistently outstanding performance. In 2018, the college was awarded the Lindsay Thompson Fellowship at the Victorian Education Excellence Awards, and in 2019 was recognized by The Age newspaper as the top Government School in Southern Melbourne.

Cranbourne North is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 39 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey local government area. Cranbourne North recorded a population of 24,683 at the 2021 census.Merinda Park railway station is located within the suburb's boundaries. The station is located on the Cranbourne railway line. Merinda Park Railway Station was opened in March 1995, upon completion of the electrification of the line between South Gippsland Highway and the junction with the Pakenham railway line at Dandenong South. Vic Roads has completed duplication of Thompsons Road between Lesdon Avenue and Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, which runs the length of the suburb. Thompson Parkway shopping centre is located on the corner of Thompsons Road and South Gippsland Highway. It also included a masters From 2015 until Woolworths permanently closed all Masters stores in 2016. The Cranbourne Golf Club is located on South Gippsland Highway. The Camden Green Estate is one of the largest developments in the suburb. Formerly a market garden, construction commenced in 2003. It is alongside Narre Warren – Cranbourne Road. More recently construction has commenced on the opposite side of Narre Warren – Cranbourne Road on further subdivisions. These include the 'Sierra', 'Eve' and 'The Avenue at Casey' estates. The latter skirts the Melbourne Urban Growth Boundary. Glasscocks Road is currently under construction and will run east–west from Dandenong Valley Highway to Berwick – Cranbourne Road when completed.

Lynbrook is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 36 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Casey local government area. Lynbrook recorded a population of 9,121 at the 2021 census.Lynbrook is positioned on the South Gippsland Highway, slightly north-west of Cranbourne, and just south of the residential suburb of Hampton Park. Lynbrook is bounded by Dandenong Hastings Road in the west, the South Gippsland Freeway in the north, by a line north of Merinda Park railway station in the east, and the railway line in the south.The suburb was developed by VicUrban, starting in 1994. A special feature of the VicUrban development is the stormwater catchment which flows into the lake and wetlands where it is purified before being released into Dandenong Creek and into Port Phillip Bay. Prior to 1994, the area now occupied by Lynbrook was part of Lyndhurst. There are two primary schools, one State and one Catholic. There is a central shopping centre with Coles and a range of strip shops with take away food and eateries, a gym, medical centre, pharmacy, news agency, butcher, bakery, and hair and beauty. There is also a Community Center, child care centres, vet, kindergarten and maternal child health nurse. Lynbrook has a local resident's group, the Lynbrook Residents Association (LRA), who advocate to Local, State and Federal Government on behalf of residents with local issues. They also host a number of Community Events to bring the community together to create a sense of belonging and community in Lynbrook.
