Bratislava bridgehead is found in the western part of Slovakia. It has an area of 93.7 square kilometres (36.2 sq mi). It is situated on the Little Hungarian Plain, on the left bank of the river Danube. Administratively, it belongs to the district Bratislava V in Bratislava, and has 111,135 inhabitants.

Gerulata was a Roman military camp located near today's Rusovce, a borough of Bratislava, Slovakia. It was part of the Roman province of Pannonia and was built in the 2nd century as a part of the frontier defence system. It was abandoned in the 4th century, when Roman legions withdrew from Pannonia. Today there is a museum, which is part of the Bratislava City Museum. Archaeologists have unearthed its remnants and their discoveries are on exhibition in the hall of the museum, which is open in summer and can be found behind the Catholic Church of St Mary Magdalene in the town. Beyond the remains of the Roman forum, fragments of structures and gravestones, bronze, iron, ceramic and stone pieces are on show in a museum showing daily life. The best preserved object is a quadrilateral building 30 metres long and 30 metres wide, with 2.4 metre thick walls. In July 2021, Gerulata was added to the UNESCO's World Heritage List as part of the Western segment of the Danubian Limes of the Roman Empire.

Rusovce Mansion or Rusovce manor house (Slovak: Rusovský kaštieľ, Hungarian: Oroszvár; German: Karlburg) is a mansion located in the Rusovce borough, part of Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. The mansion was built on the site of an older manor house from the 16th century, with a medieval structure incorporated into the following buildings. The façade got its current look by application of the Tudor and English Neogothic styles. The manor house is surrounded by an English park. The premises cover 24 km2 on both banks of the Danube river. In the twentieth century, mansion and premises have been owned by Hungarian Prince Elemer Lonyay, husband to Princess Stéphanie of Belgium, widow of Crown Prince Rudolph of Austria-Hungary. The couple lived in the mansion until early in 1945. Lonyay, who died in Budapest in 1946, left the estate to the Benedictine Order, who had given refuge to him and his wife during the last weeks of World War II at Pannonhalma Archabbey. In 1947, due to the Paris Peace Treaty, Hungary had to cede the area to Czechoslovakia. The then communist government seized the premises in 1948. Currently, the building is managed by the Slovak Republic Government Office and closed to the public. The government has refused to return the estate to the Benedictine Order, who after unsuccessfully calling to the Slovak Constitutional Court is said to seek a decision at the European Court of Justice in 2009.

Kittsee (German pronunciation: [kiˈt͡seː] (listen); Slovak: Kopčany, Hungarian: Köpcsény, Croatian: Gijeca) is an Austrian municipality in the District of Neusiedl am See, Burgenland.

Technopol is the second tallest building in Petržalka (one of the Bratislava districts) and one of the tallest buildings in Bratislava. It consists of two buildings 90 m (300 ft) height and is located in the Kutlíkova street, 17, surrounding Chorvátske rameno in front of John Paul II. Square and The Holy family church. Technopol serves as a headquarters of several companies, such as Technopol, a.s. and also Petržalka self-government office.

Holy Family Church (Slovak: Kostol Svätej rodiny) is a Catholic church in Petržalka, a district of Bratislava.The seating capacity is 448. Construction began in July 2001 and the church was completed in 2003. The church is located by the Croatian Canal (Slovak: Chorvátske rameno) near the Technopol building complex. It is located in a park where Pope John Paul II celebrated mass in 2003, now known as John Paul II Square (Slovak: Námestie Jána Pavla II.).In 2003, Pope John Paul II visited the church and celebrated the mass on the space in front of it. Tens of thousands of believers from all around Slovakia and neighbouring countries attended.

Deutsch Jahrndorf (German pronunciation: [ˌdɔʏtʃ ˈjaːɐ̯ndɔʁf]; Hungarian: Németjárfalu, Német-Járfalu, Slovak: Nemecké Jarovce) is a municipality in the district of Neusiedl am See, in the Austrian state of Burgenland. It is within a few kilometres of the borders of both Hungary and Slovakia. Deutsch Jahrndorf is the easternmost municipality of Austria, at 17th meridian east, and the easternmost commune of the German Sprachraum since 1945 and the expulsions of the Germans.

Gajc is a nature reserve in the Podunajské Biskupice district of Bratislava, Slovakia. The nature reserve covers an area of 62.72 ha on the left shore of the Danube. It has a protection level of 4 under the Slovak nature protection system. The nature reserve is part of the Dunajské luhy Protected Landscape Area.

Kopáčsky ostrov is a nature reserve in the Podunajské Biskupice district of Bratislava, Slovakia. The nature reserve covers an area of 82.62 ha on the left shore of the Danube. It has a protection level of 5 (the highest) under the Slovak nature protection system. The nature reserve is part of the Dunajské luhy Protected Landscape Area.

Stadium FC Petržalka (Slovak: Štadión FC Petržalka) is a football stadium in Petržalka, Slovakia. It serves as home stadium for football club FC Petržalka. The stadium was built in 2011 and opened in 2012. The first match was played between the home club FC Petržalka 1898 and FC Nitra B, on 5 August 2012, Petržalka loss 1–3. In the future, the capacity stadium is expected to be increased. During the first years, the stadium had a single grandstand with 800 seats. Later the capacity was increased to 1500 (with 800 seats) and then it was increased to the current capacity of 3000 with 1000 seats.

Bratislava-Petržalka railway station is a station in Petržalka, the southern part of Bratislava. The station was built in 1897. The station was rebuilt in the 1990s as a terminus for international trains to and from Vienna, which restarted in 1999 after having stopped in 1945. Shuttle trains between the station and Wien Hauptbahnhof operate approximately once per hour. The station is a connection point between the southern Slovak 25 kV/50 Hz electrification and Austrian 15 kV/16.7 Hz.Public transport bus line No. 80 connects the station with the city center and No. 93 (it is necessary to use station's underpass to get to the stop of No. 93) connects the station with Bratislava main railway station where it is possible to transfer to line No. 61 to the M. R. Štefánik Airport or to line No. 210 to the central bus station at Mlynské Nivy.

Panský diel is a nature monument in the Podunajské Biskupice district of Bratislava, Slovakia. The nature monument covers an area of 15,60 ha on the left shore of the Danube. It has a protection level of 4 under the Slovak nature protection system. The protected area is part of the Dunajské luhy Protected Landscape Area.
