The Palau Sacosta Castle (Catalan: Palau Castell de Sacosta) is situated just southeast of Girona, Catalonia in the adjoining village of Palau-sacosta. Palau-sacosta was an independent municipality until 1962 when it was incorporated into Girona.

Girona (Catalan: Estació de Girona) is a railway station serving the city of Girona in Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the northern part of the municipality, lying at approximately 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) southwest of the city's historical centre.The station is on the Barcelona–Cerbère conventional rail line and the Perpignan–Barcelona high-speed rail line. It is served by Rodalies de Catalunya regional line R11 and Girona commuter rail service line RG1, as well as by several national and international AVE and TGV high-speed services operated by Renfe Operadora and SNCF.Girona also has a freight station, located about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of the passenger station.

Marrecs de Salt (Catalan pronunciation: [məˈrɛɡz ðə ˈsal]) is a group of castellers (human tower builders) from Salt, Girona (Catalonia), founded in 1995. They are also to be considered as the local group in Girona, together with their university counterpart: Xoriguers de la UdG. They are one of the seven active groups in the province of Girona, and since the dissolution of Castellers de l'Albera, also the oldest. Their best human tower is the 5 in 8 and their best performance was on 27 October 2013 for the performance of Sant Narcís in the city of Girona, were they completed the 4 in 8, the 2 in 8 with double base, the 3 in 8 and the pillar of 6. Their shirt is blue standing for the river Ter, which flows through both Salt and Girona, as well as other regions of the province.

Salt (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsal]) is a municipality in the comarca of the Gironès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the right bank of the Ter next to Girona, with which it was merged from 1974 to 1984. The A-7 autopista and N-141 road pass through the municipality. From 1895, Salt was the temporary Girona terminus of the narrow gauge Olot–Girona railway, until the short section to Girona railway station was opened in 1898. Initially the line ran only as far as Amer, but it was extended to Les Planes d'Hostoles in 1900, Sant Feliu de Pallerols in 1902 and Olot in 1911. The line closed in 1969 and has since been converted into a greenway.

Jaume Vicens Vives Secondary School (Institut Jaume Vicens Vives in Catalan) is a Spanish state secondary school located in the city of Girona (Spain). The Onyar (Onyar in Catalan, Undarius in Latin) is a Spanish river in Girona, Catalonia that begins at the Guilleries massif at the apex of the Catalan Transversal Range and the Pre-Coastal Range. It joins the Ter at the city of Girona, and crosses the city from south to north, separating the city into the old part (on the right side) and the more modern part (on the left side). During its course through the city, the Onyar river is joined by the waters coming from the Monar or Conda irrigation channel (which in turn comes from the Ter river), a channel that used to irrigate the orchards in the "Mercadal" area. As it journeys further north, the river converges with the Güell and the Galligans rivers near the crossing with the railway. Finally, it merges into the Ter river near the Pedret neighborhood. Over the years, the Onyar and Güell rivers have been associated with notable flood events that have had a profound impact on the city. The period spanning from 1970 to 1985 was particularly devastating, resulting in significant material losses. These floods are documented to have affected over 75% of the city, causing disruption to approximately 2000 commercial and industrial establishments, as well as damaging or destroying 500 vehiclesThe river flows alongside a charming tourist destination known as the Onyar's houses ("Casas del Onyar" in Catalan), comprising a vibrant ensemble of homes that have become iconic subjects for postcards and tourist literature

Campllong (Spanish: Campllonch) is a village in the province of Girona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 8.46 square kilometres (3.27 sq mi) and the population in 2014 was 515.

The Collegiate Church of St. Felix (Catalan: Col·legiata de Sant Feliu) is a basilica dedicated to St. Felix in the Catalan city of Girona, dating to the early days of Christianity. It houses the offices of the Parish of Sant Feliu, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Girona, so called because it was the main church of Girona before the construction of the Girona Cathedral. Its construction, in honor of Felix of Girona (Sant Feliu), occurred from the 12th century until the 17th century. It retains much of the Romanesque construction, completed later with a Gothic nave and a covered baroque facade. It is notable for its eight Roman and early Christian sarcophagi of the 3rd and 4th centuries, along with the Gothic tomb of Narcissus of Girona who, according to tradition, was one of the early bishops of the see.
