El Masnou

The El Masnou Municipal Nautical Museum (Catalan: Museu Municipal de Nàutica del Masnou) is a municipally owned museum, the backbone of which is El Masnou’s relationship with the sea. It is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, the Maritime Museums of the Catalan Coast Network and the Mediterranean Maritime Museum Association.

Alella (Catalan pronunciation: [əˈleʎə]) is a village in the comarca of Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast on the southwest side of the granite Catalan Coastal Range. The town is known for its wines, cava and perfumes, but is also a commuter town for nearby Barcelona. What used to be the old Roman Road (Via Augusta), uniting Rome and Andalusia, is still today a narrow road running through the village.

Alella is a Spanish Denominación de Origen (DO) (Denominació d'Origen in Catalan) for wines produced in Maresme county in the province of Barcelona in the Spanish autonomous communities of Catalonia, located on the Mediterranean coast, 15 km to the north of the city of Barcelona. It is one of the smallest DOs in Spain as the vineyards have been encroached upon by urban development. At the present time it only covers one third of the area that it covered in 1956 when it was established, despite a territorial extension in 1989.

Hamelin Laie International School is a private international school located in Montgat, Spain, near Barcelona. The Premià de Mar Printing Museum (Catalan: Museu Municipal de l'Estampació de Premià de Mar), located in the old gas factory of the town, is a museum dedicated to explaining the history of textile printing in Premià de Mar and all of Catalonia. It is part of Science and Technology Museum of Catalonia and the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network. Its main objective is to expose samples and objects related to textile printing and to explain the techniques used over time, as well as to highlight the important role that this economic activity has played in the past as a driver of industrialisation in Catalonia.

The Catalan Coastal Depression, Catalan: Depressió Litoral Catalana, is a natural depression between the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range and the Mediterranean Sea. It is part of the Catalan Mediterranean System.

The aim of Premià de Dalt Museum is to compile, study and disseminate the rich heritage of Premià de Dalt (Maresme) to be found in archaeological, archival, architectural and urban elements. The museum, which is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, is based on a project to create a museum that is open, fun and participative.The museum is located in one of the buildings of the Mas Figueres estate, dating back to the 13th century, although the area the museum is housed in seems to be from the 15th century.

It is situated on the coast between Badalona (Barcelonès) and El Masnou, to the north-east of Barcelona. The town is both a tourist centre and a (somewhat exclusive) dormitory town for Barcelona. The C-31 autopista, B-20 autopista, the main N-II road and a Renfe railway line run through the town.

The Coll de la Font de Cera is a mountain pass on the BP-5002 road across the Catalan Coastal Range from El Masnou to Granollers. The pass lies between the municipality of Alella, in the comarca of Maresme, and the municipality of Vallromanes, in the comarca of Vallès Oriental. Both municipalities are in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.The pass reaches a height of 274.5 metres (901 ft) above sea level and is in the Parc de la Serralada Litoral.The GR 92 long-distance footpath, which roughly follows the length of the Mediterranean coast of Spain, has a staging point on the pass. Stage 16 links northwards to Coll de Can Bordoi, a distance of 23.0 kilometres (14.3 mi), whilst stage 17 links southwards to Montcada i Reixac, a distance of 16.9 kilometres (10.5 mi).

Premià de Mar (Catalan pronunciation: [pɾəmiˈa ðə ˈmaɾ]) is a municipality in the comarca of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between El Masnou and Vilassar de Mar, to the north-east of Barcelona. The town is both a tourist centre and a dormitory town for Barcelona. Like almost all municipalities of Maresme, Premià de Mar has been historically very well connected with the rest of the comarca and with Barcelona thanks to old Camí Ral (Royal Way) (actual N-II main road) and railroad (Barcelona-Mataró railroad route (1848) was the first to be constructed in all the Iberian Peninsula). Communications have been enhanced in recent years with the construction (1969) of the C-32's Barcelona-Mataró section, also the first autopista (highway) to be constructed in all the Iberian Peninsula. The town centre has buildings in a wide range of styles: neoclassical, modernista, noucentista and simply eclectic. The church of Sant Cristòfol has a baroque doorway with maritime motifs.
