St Kyneburgh's Chapel, Gloucester

Gloucester Castle was a Norman-era royal castle situated in the city of Gloucester in Gloucestershire, England. It was demolished in 1787 and replaced by Gloucester Prison.

Blackfriars, Gloucester, England, founded about 1239, is one of the most complete surviving Dominican black friaries in England. Now owned by English Heritage and restored in 1960, it is currently leased to Gloucester City Council and used for weddings, concerts, exhibitions, guided tours, filming, educational events and private hires. The former church, since converted into a house, is a Grade I listed building.

St Owen's Church was a church and parish within the City of Gloucester in Gloucestershire, England. The parish church of St Owen's was situated on Southgate Street, just outside the South Gate of the formerly walled city, and was founded before 1100, but was demolished by the City Corporation in 1643, during the Civil War in advance of the Siege of Gloucester.

Ladybellegate Street is a street in Gloucester that runs from Longsmith Street in the north to Commercial Road in the south. It is joined only by Blackfriars on its eastern side. The former Blackfriars monastery is located on the eastern side of the street together with three grade II* listed town houses and the former premises of Talbots Bottlers.

Southgate Street is one of the ancient streets in the City of Gloucester, so named because its southern end was originally the location of the south gate in the city's walls. The part beyond the gate as far as Severn Street was sometimes known as Lower Southgate Street. St Mary de Crypt Church, Southgate Street, Gloucester, is an Anglican Church, which was first recorded in 1140 as The Church of the Blessed Mary within Southgate. It is in the Diocese of Gloucester and is located adjacent to the ruins of Greyfriars. It has also been known as Christ Church and St. Mary in the South. St Mary de Crypt is a Grade I listed building.

The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum is located within the historic docks in the city of Gloucester. The museum tells the story of two regiments of the British Army, the Gloucestershire Regiment, including its antecedents the 28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot and the 61st (South Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot, and the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars, both of which recruited heavily from Gloucestershire and Bristol.

Marylone (sometimes called St Mary's Lane) is a short pedestrian street in Gloucester that runs from Southgate Street to Addison's Folly.The street is entered from Southgate Street through the same archway that provides access to the old Crypt School. On its south side is the graveyard for St Mary de Crypt church, and on the north commercial premises. The street was probably laid out during the replanning of Gloucester in the 10th century by Queen Æthelflæd who was a daughter of King Alfred. Although the street is now very short, during the medieval period it went as far as the eastern city wall. The street is now almost entirely taken up with seating for Cafe Rene. The street is paved with carboniferous limestone with borders of cobbles.

Longsmith Street is a street in Gloucester that runs from Bearland in the north to Southgate Street in the south. Commercial Road is located in the City of Gloucester, England. It runs from The Quay and Severn Road in the north to Kimbrose Way and Southgate Street in the south. It is joined by Barbican Road and Ladybellegate Street on the north side and by entrances to Gloucester Docks on the south side. On the north side on the corner with Barbican Road is the former Gloucester Prison and the former site of Blackfriars on the corner with Ladybellegate Street.
