St Owen's Church, Gloucester

Gloucester Castle was a Norman-era royal castle situated in the city of Gloucester in Gloucestershire, England. It was demolished in 1787 and replaced by Gloucester Prison.

Southgate Street is one of the ancient streets in the City of Gloucester, so named because its southern end was originally the location of the south gate in the city's walls. The part beyond the gate as far as Severn Street was sometimes known as Lower Southgate Street. It runs from the crossroads of Northgate, Eastgate, Southgate, and Westgate Streets in the north (The Cross) to Bristol Road in the south.

St Kyneburgh's Chapel was established in early times near the City of Gloucester. It was dedicated to St Kyneburgh and was transferred with all its lands to Llanthony Secunda Priory by Roger Earl of Hereford between 1143 and 1155. It was situated inside Gloucester's city wall at the south gate. It was formerly a possession of St Owen's Church, Gloucester.In 1455-1456, during the era of John Hayward (Prior of Llanthony Secunda Priory 1457-1466) it was recorded, in Latin, that Llanthony Secunda Priory had existed for 319 years and the chapel of St. Kyneburgh had existed for 919 years. which might suggest a likely date for the chapel of between AD500 - AD550.

The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum is located within the historic docks in the city of Gloucester. The museum tells the story of two regiments of the British Army, the Gloucestershire Regiment, including its antecedents the 28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot and the 61st (South Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot, and the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars, both of which recruited heavily from Gloucestershire and Bristol.

Blackfriars, Gloucester, England, founded about 1239, is one of the most complete surviving Dominican black friaries in England. Now owned by English Heritage and restored in 1960, it is currently leased to Gloucester City Council and used for weddings, concerts, exhibitions, guided tours, filming, educational events and private hires. The former church, since converted into a house, is a Grade I listed building.

Commercial Road is located in the City of Gloucester, England. It runs from The Quay and Severn Road in the north to Kimbrose Way and Southgate Street in the south. It is joined by Barbican Road and Ladybellegate Street on the north side and by entrances to Gloucester Docks on the south side. On the north side on the corner with Barbican Road is the former Gloucester Prison and the former site of Blackfriars on the corner with Ladybellegate Street.

Ladybellegate Street is a street in Gloucester that runs from Longsmith Street in the north to Commercial Road in the south. It is joined only by Blackfriars on its eastern side. The former Blackfriars monastery is located on the eastern side of the street together with three grade II* listed town houses and the former premises of Talbots Bottlers.

The Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary was a hospital in Southgate Street, Gloucester.

12–18 Brunswick Square is a set of seven 19th-century terraced houses on the west side of Brunswick Square in the English city of Gloucester. The buildings were completed in 1825 as part of the development of Brunswick Square led by Thomas Reece. In the 1930s Princess Mary visited the YMCA at 18 Brunswick Square. It has since been converted into offices and flats, and has been a Grade II listed building since 21 January 1952.

Robert Raikes' House is an historic 16th century timber-framed town house at 36–38 Southgate Street, Gloucester. It is now used as a public house called the Robert Raikes Inn.

Gloucester National Spiritualist Church is a spiritualist church in Brunswick Square, Gloucester. It was founded in April 1954.

Brunswick Square is a 1.5-acre (0.61 ha) privately owned public garden with residential streets along three of its sides, in the English city of Gloucester. It is overlooked by the Christ Church to the east on Brunswick Road. The square is surrounded by terraced houses and flats with the Gloucester National Spiritualist Church on the north side and Gloucester House on the south side. There are nine grade listed buildings around the square. The square has been part of the Eastgate and St Michaels conservation area since 1968.
