Spüligbach (Lenne)

Lenne is river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a 24 km (15 mi) long, right-hand, eastern tributary of the river Weser in the district of Holzminden in the Weser Uplands.

Bodenwerder was a Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Holzminden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its seat was in the town Bodenwerder. On 1 January 2010, it merged with the former Samtgemeinde Polle to form the new Samtgemeinde Bodenwerder-Polle. The Weser Uplands (German: Weserbergland, German pronunciation: [ˈveːzɐˌbɛʁklant]) is a hill region in Germany, between Hannoversch Münden and Porta Westfalica, along the river Weser. The area reaches into three states, Lower Saxony, Hesse, and North Rhine-Westphalia. Important towns of this region include Bad Karlshafen, Holzminden, Höxter, Bodenwerder, Hameln, Rinteln, and Vlotho. The tales of the Brothers Grimm are set in the Weser Uplands, and it has many renaissance buildings, exhibiting a peculiar regional style, the Weser Renaissance style. The region roughly coincides with the natural region of the Lower Saxon Hills defined by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN).

Kirchbrak is a municipality in the district of Holzminden, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The municipality lies only a few kilometers east of Bodenwerder. Through Kirchbrak flows a small river called Lenne, a tributary of the Weser. It consists of five small villages and hamlets, named Kirchbrak, Westerbrak, Osterbrak, Breitenkamp and Heinrichshagen. Kirchbrak is situated on the northern edge of the hilly area Vogler. Kirchbrak has two monumental buildings: the Lutheran Saint Michael's Church, built in the 12th century, containing a remarkable 18th-century church organ and a 17th-century altarpiece; only open to visitors for attending Sunday services. the AMCO-Fabrikerweiterungsgebäude (AMCO factory enlargement building; built in 1925), an industrial monument designed by the famous architects Walter Gropius and Ernst Neufert; especially remarkable, because it is one of the earliest architectural creations in which Neufert took part.

The Vogler is a range of hills, up to 460.4 m high, in the Weser Uplands in southern Lower Saxony (Germany). Together with the Solling, the Vogler forms the Solling-Vogler Nature Park which lies a couple of kilometres further south.
