The Gimnasia Realit or the Gimnasia Realit E. Karary (הגימנסיה הריאלית על שם א. קררי) is an Israeli high school, named in honor of its first principal Eliezer Karary.

Rishon LeZion (Hebrew: רִאשׁוֹן לְצִיּוֹן (audio) , lit. First to Zion, Arabic: راشون لتسيون) is a city in Israel, located along the central Israeli coastal plain eight kilometres (5 mi) south of Tel Aviv. It is part of the Gush Dan metropolitan area. Founded in 1882 by Jewish immigrants from the Russian Empire who were part of the First Aliyah, it was the second Jewish farm settlement established in Ottoman Syria in the 19th century, after Petah Tikva. As of 2017, it was the fourth-largest city in Israel, with a population of 254,384.The city is a member of Forum 15, which is an association of fiscally autonomous cities in Israel that do not depend on national balancing or development grants.

Rishon LeZion–HaRishonim railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת ראשון לציון הראשונים, Tahanat HaRakevet Rishon LeTziyon HaRishonim) is a station of Israel Railways in Rishon LeZion, part of the Tel Aviv – Rishon LeZion line. The station is located in the southern area of the city, in the middle of HaRishonim Interchange, at the intersection of the new Highway 431 and Route 412 (Rishon LeZion – Nes Ziona road). It was opened on September 13, 2003 with the Beit Shemesh railway station. The station has two platforms. It is the southern terminus of the suburban line to Netanya. HaRishonim station is currently built as a terminus, not allowing through traffic in its current configuration. At the current time, the only service that reaches the station is an cut short hourly shuttle train to Lod. The service generally uses platform 1.

Prison Four (Hebrew: כלא ארבע, Kele Arba), officially Confinement Base 394 (Hebrew: בסיס כליאה 394, Bsis Kli'a 394) is an Israeli military prison for Israeli soldiers, located in the military police compound in Tzrifin (Camp Yadin), Israel. It is the main prison for military prisoners in Israel (the secondary being Prison Six) and can contain approximately 600 prisoners. It is the only prison for Israeli soldiers during an emergency. Prison Four accepts all prisoners except officers, senior NCOs, some military policemen and soldiers who serve in the Northern Command. These go to Prison Six.

Sarafand al-Kharab (Arabic: صرفند الخراب) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Ramle Subdistrict, located 50 meters (160 ft) above sea level, 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) west of Ramla, in the area that is today northeast of Ness Ziona.

The Agricultural Research Organization, Volcani Center (Hebrew: מנהל המחקר החקלאי - מרכז וולקני), previously known as the Agricultural Research Station of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, is an Israeli agricultural research center. It serves as the research arm of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the State of Israel and provides research opportunities for local and international scientists at post-graduate levels, as well as educational opportunities for Israeli and international youths, farmers and scientists. The organization supports Israeli agriculture research, focusing on plant sciences, animal sciences, plant protection, soil and environmental sciences, food sciences, and agricultural engineering. The organization was founded in 1921 in Ben Shemen, Israel, by Yitzhak Elazari Volcani, for whom it is named.

Ness Ziona (Hebrew: נֵס צִיּוֹנָה, Nes Tziyona) is a town in central Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 50,351, and its jurisdiction was 15,579 dunams (15.579 km2 [6.015 sq mi]).

The Surafend massacre (Arabic: مجزرة صرفند) was the premeditated massacre of many male inhabitants from the Arab village of Surafend (now the area of Tzrifin in Israel) and a Bedouin camp in Palestine by soldiers of the ANZAC Mounted Division on 10 December 1918. The massacre, believed to have been in response to the murder of a New Zealand soldier by a villager, caused a significant rift between the Division and its Commander-in-Chief, General Sir Edmund Allenby.

Shamir Medical Center, formerly Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, is a hospital located on 60 acres (24 ha), 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) southeast of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Tzrifin (Hebrew: צְרִיפִין) is an area in Gush Dan (Dan Region) in central Israel, located on the eastern side of Rishon LeZion and including parts of Be'er Ya'akov. The area proper is defined as an 'area without jurisdiction' between the two cities. Nearly the entire area of Tzrifin proper is taken up by the central Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base, Camp Yigael Yadin (a.k.a. Camp Tzrifin, Camp 782), with which it is synonymous, even though the base also spills into Rishon LeZion and Be'er Ya'akov. Camp Yadin contains a multitude of training bases, as well as Prison Four, the largest Israeli military prison. By the early 2020s the IDF is expected to vacate all of its installations from Tzrifin, with most of their functions being relocated to new bases in the Negev desert in Southern Israel. The vacated land will be repurposed for residential development.

Be'er Ya'akov (Hebrew: בְּאֵר יַעֲקֹב, lit. Jacob's Well) is a city in central Israel, near Ness Ziona and Rishon Lezion. The town has an area of 8,580 dunams (~8.6 km²), and had a population of 27,768 in 2019.

The Tzrifin attack was a suicide bombing, which occurred on 9 September 2003 in a bus stop in central Israel next to the military base Tzrifin. 9 IDF soldiers were killed in the attack and more than 15 soldiers were injured. The suicide bomber was a member of the Palestinian organization Hamas and was a resident of the Palestinian village Rantis in the West Bank.
