Tzrifin (Hebrew: צְרִיפִין) is an area in Gush Dan (Dan Region) in central Israel, located on the eastern side of Rishon LeZion and including parts of Be'er Ya'akov. The area proper is defined as an 'area without jurisdiction' between the two cities. Nearly the entire area of Tzrifin proper is taken up by the central Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base, Camp Yigael Yadin (a.k.a. Camp Tzrifin, Camp 782), with which it is synonymous, even though the base also spills into Rishon LeZion and Be'er Ya'akov. Camp Yadin contains a multitude of training bases, as well as Prison Four, the largest Israeli military prison. By the early 2020s the IDF is expected to vacate all of its installations from Tzrifin, with most of their functions being relocated to new bases in the Negev desert in Southern Israel. The vacated land will be repurposed for residential development.

The Surafend massacre (Arabic: مجزرة صرفند) was the premeditated massacre of many male inhabitants from the Arab village of Surafend (now the area of Tzrifin in Israel) and a Bedouin camp in Palestine by soldiers of the ANZAC Mounted Division on 10 December 1918. The massacre, believed to have been in response to the murder of a New Zealand soldier by a villager, caused a significant rift between the Division and its Commander-in-Chief, General Sir Edmund Allenby.

Sarafand al-Amar (Arabic: صرفند العمار) was a Palestinian Arab village situated on the coastal plain of Palestine, about 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) northwest of Ramla. It had a population of 1,950 in 1945 and a land area of 13,267 dunams. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

The Tzrifin attack was a suicide bombing, which occurred on 9 September 2003 in a bus stop in central Israel next to the military base Tzrifin. 9 IDF soldiers were killed in the attack and more than 15 soldiers were injured. The suicide bomber was a member of the Palestinian organization Hamas and was a resident of the Palestinian village Rantis in the West Bank.

Prison Four (Hebrew: כלא ארבע, Kele Arba), officially Confinement Base 394 (Hebrew: בסיס כליאה 394, Bsis Kli'a 394) is an Israeli military prison for Israeli soldiers, located in the military police compound in Tzrifin (Camp Yadin), Israel. It is the main prison for military prisoners in Israel (the secondary being Prison Six) and can contain approximately 600 prisoners. It is the only prison for Israeli soldiers during an emergency. Prison Four accepts all prisoners except officers, senior NCOs, some military policemen and soldiers who serve in the Northern Command. These go to Prison Six.

The Shafrir synagogue shooting was an attack which was carried out by Palestinian militants on 11 April 1956. Three Palestinian militants who crossed into Israel from Egypt attacked the study hall of a synagogue while it was full of children and teenagers, in the farming community of Kfar Chabad (Shafrir). Six people (five children and a youth worker) were killed.

Talmei Menashe (Hebrew: תלמי מנשה) is a moshav in central Israel. It was established in 1953 by the General Zionists movement. The moshav encompasses 1,800 dunams and consists of 62 farms, 5 auxiliary farms, and a residential annex ("Harchava"). The moshav falls under the jurisdiction of Be'er Ya'akov local council, and is located to the east of Be'er Ya'akov and to the west of route 44.

Abu al-Fadl (Arabic: أبو الفضل/السطرية) was a Palestinian village in the Ramle Subdistrict, about 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of Ramla in, what was until 1948, Mandatory Palestine. The village was also known as al-Satariyya. In 1945/44, the village had a population of 510.

Be'er Ya'akov (Hebrew: בְּאֵר יַעֲקֹב, lit. Jacob's Well) is a city in central Israel, near Ness Ziona and Rishon Lezion. The town has an area of 8,580 dunams (~8.6 km²), and had a population of 27,768 in 2019.

Kfar Chabad (Hebrew: כְּפַר חַבָּ"ד, lit. "Chabad Village") is a Chabad-Lubavitch village in central Israel. Between Beit Dagan and Lod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 6,598.

Nir Tzvi (Hebrew: נִיר צְבִי, lit. 'Zvi's meadow') is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Lod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,286.

Al-Safiriyya was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during Operation Hametz in the 1948 Palestine War on May 20, 1948. It was located 11 km east of Jaffa, 1.5 km west of Ben Gurion Airport.
