Chipperfield is a village and civil parish in the Dacorum district of Hertfordshire, England, approximately five miles southwest of Hemel Hempstead and five miles north of Watford. It stands on a chalk plateau at the edge of the Chiltern Hills, between 130 and 160 metres above sea level. The village green is at the centre of Chipperfield on the edge of the 117 acre Chipperfield Common. The rural parish includes the hamlet of Tower Hill.

Sarratt is both a village and a civil parish in Three Rivers District, Hertfordshire, England. It is situated 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Rickmansworth on high ground near the county boundary with Buckinghamshire. The chalk stream, the River Chess, rising just north of Chesham in the Chiltern Hills, passes through Sarratt Bottom in the valley to the west of the village to join the River Colne in Rickmansworth. The conditions offered by the river are perfect for the cultivation of watercress. Sarratt has the only commercially operating watercress farm in Hertfordshire. The valley to the east of Sarratt is dry.

Belsize is a hamlet in Sarratt civil parish, Three Rivers District, Hertfordshire, England, situated less than a mile from Chipperfield and Sarratt.Belsize was given the award of Hertfordshire's best-kept hamlet in both 1989 and 1996.

Kings Langley School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the village of Kings Langley in Hertfordshire, England. It is situated on Love Lane about 0.75 miles (1.21 km) from Junction 20 on the M25 and about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) from Kings Langley railway station. The school has pupils aged 11 to 18. Its traditional catchment area is between the nearby towns of Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Most students are from Kings Langley and around or in the neighbouring villages of Bovingdon, Abbots Langley, and Chipperfield. The school became one of the first batch of schools to benefit from the governments PFI re-build scheme in 2012, and was completely re-built in September 2016. The school was among the top 20 most improved secondary schools in England for GCSE results over the 2004–2007 period.

King's Langley Priory was a Dominican priory in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England. It was located adjacent to the Kings Langley Royal Palace, residence of the Plantagenet English kings.

Rudolf Steiner School Kings Langley was a Steiner School located in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England, formed in 1949. The school catered for pupils aged 3 to 19 years old. The School was set on 10 acres (4.0 ha) of grounds, on the site of Kings Langley Palace, a 13th-century Plantagenet royal palace. In July 2017 the Department for Education (DfE) issued an order of de-registration of the school. This followed earlier concerns over child safeguarding resulting in a March 2017 instruction from the DfE to not admit new students.An appeal of the de-registration order on behalf of the school failed, and the school closed on the 29th of March 2019.

Kings Langley Palace was a 13th-century Royal Palace which was located to the west of the Hertfordshire village of Kings Langley in England. During the Middle Ages, the palace served as a residence of the Plantagenet kings of England. It fell into disuse sometime during the 16th century and became a ruin. Today, nothing remains of the building except for some archaeological remains. The site is a scheduled ancient monument.

Kings Langley is a village, former manor and civil parish in Hertfordshire, England, 21 miles (34 kilometres) north-west of Westminster in the historic centre of London and to the south of the Chiltern Hills. It now forms part of the London commuter belt. The village is divided between two local government districts by the River Gade with the larger western portion in the Borough of Dacorum and smaller part, to the east of the river, in Three Rivers District. It was the location of Kings Langley Palace and the associated King's Langley Priory, of which few traces survive. It is 2 mi (3 km) situated south of Hemel Hempstead and 2 mi (3 km) north of Watford. The earliest mention in surviving documents of the manor of Langalega is in a Saxon charter dated circa 1050. It appears as Langelai in the Domesday Book of 1086, and is recorded as Langel' Regis ("Langley of the King") in 1254. The name means "long wood or clearing".

Sarratt Bottom nature Reserve in Hertfordshire is a 3.2-hectare (7.9-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest. The site is a meadow beside the River Chess. It is an example of damp grassland which has been traditionally managed for grazing. There are also areas of swamp and marsh. The main plants in grassland areas include sweet vernal grass and meadow foxtail, and marsh horsetail and common spike-rush are common in damper areas. The site has hedgehogs and a wide variety of wetland birds and invertebrates.There is no public access but the site can be viewed from Moor Lane. The local planning authority is Three Rivers District Council.

Langley House is a Grade II* listed house in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England. It dates from the late 16th century, with later additions.

Felden is a semi-rural neighbourhood of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, situated to the south west of the town, close to the railway station. At the 2011 Census the population of the neighbourhood was included in the Dacorum Ward of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield. It is separated from the main urban area by main roads, the rail line and Boxmoor. The boundary of Felden extends only from the diverging of Felden Lane, where the sign to the boys brigade is now situated. The 'Felden' sign was removed recently making it unclear that the Felden Hamlet does not extend below this point. Similarly Felden the Hamlet does not extend as far as Box Lane, which is also often claimed to be part of this band of housing. The ancient Box Lane runs uphill from Boxmoor to Bovingdon and passes through the west of Felden. On this lane stands Box Lane Chapel, a non-conformist chapel dating from the early 17th century. The chapel was officially founded in 1668, was re-built in 1690 and then altered in 1856 and again in 1876. Tradition has it that Oliver Cromwell once worshipped here. It is now a private house after being sold in 1969. Felden is home to the national headquarters of The Boys' Brigade UK & RoI, Felden Lodge.Felden Water Tower opened in 1910 is an octagonal brick tower with a fanciful fairytale appearance. It is 80 feet (24 m) tall and contains 50,600 imp gal (230,000 L) of water. Plans were made to redevelop the building in 2007.
