Mar Ivanios College is an autonomous educational institution situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The college was ranked as 29th best college in the country by Ministry of Education's National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2019, and 48th in 2020. In 2021, the college improved its ranking by 4 places and became the 44th best college in the country. The institution is located on a scenic hilltop with a sprawling campus area of hundreds of acres in Bethany Hills, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram. Mar Ivanios College was established in 1949 by Geevarghese Mar Ivanios, the first Archbishop of Trivandrum.

Mar Theophilos Training College, Trivandrum

Mar Theophilus Training College is a Syro-Malankara Catholic Church teacher training college. It is administered by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Trivandrum. Major Arch Bishop H.B. Baselios Cardinal Cleemmis Catholicos of Thiruvanathapuram is the Patron and Manager of the college. MTTC was in 1956 as an affiliated College to the University of Kerala, with J.Y. Thampi Haris as the first principal. Dr. K.Y.Benedict is the current principal. MTTC offers courses for Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees. At present the college has 21 teaching faculty faculty members, 16 in B.Ed and 5 in M.Ed. It has affiliation for D.El.Ed. too. In the second cycle of Re-Accreditation the college maintained A grade with AGPA 3.25. It has got re-accredited in the third cycle in 2022. New floor is under construction under RUSA 2.0 scheme. Nalanchira

Nalanchira is a suburb of Thiruvananthapuram, formerly known as Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala state in India. It is an educational hub of Kerala, situated between Mannanthala and Pananvila. Nalanchira is approximately 8 km from the Thiruvananthapuram railway station and 11 km away from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The Main Central Road (MC Road) runs through this place. This middle-class residential locality is famous for its educational and social service institutions. The Nalanchira Bethany Hills were originally owned by a chettiar and was given to Mar Ivanios the founder of Syro-Malankara Catholic (MSC) Church to start an educational institution. The main residential areas are Benedict Nagar, Christian medical centre (CMC) lane, Parakodu lane, Mangalathu Lane, Convent Lane, Rajeev Gandhi Nagar, Puliyoor Gardens, Rose Nagar, Akshaya Gardens, Shawallace Lane, Thattinakam Souhrda Residents Association, Parkanthara Lane, Post Office Lane, Chathiode Lane, Udayannoor Lane, Kurishadi Jn., Anupama Nagar, Bethany Nagar Lane and Jayamatha Lane.
