Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), is an engineering educational institution located at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India offering engineering education and research. The college is located on a hillock in the Bethany Hills. This house is the mother house of the congregation and the Ashram Chapel is considered as the first church in Trivandrum by the Syrian Christian community. Near to Bethany Ashram, there situates the Provincial House of Bethany Navajeevan Province. At Bethany Nagar Lane there is one of the 'Dayaras' of Bethany Ashram which is also the Minor Seminary of the Congregation. Mar Theophilus Training College is a Syro-Malankara Catholic Church teacher training college. It is administered by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Trivandrum. Major Arch Bishop H.B. Baselios Cardinal Cleemmis Catholicos of Thiruvanathapuram is the Patron and Manager of the college. MTTC was in 1956 as an affiliated College to the University of Kerala, with J.Y. Thampi Haris as the first principal. Dr. K.Y.Benedict is the current principal. MTTC offers courses for Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees. At present the college has 21 teaching faculty faculty members, 16 in B.Ed and 5 in M.Ed. It has affiliation for D.El.Ed. too. The present building complex and campus were constructed between 1999 and 2001, in order to facilitate MTTC becoming the first college in Kerala State with all the specifications set by the National Council of Teacher Education. St. Thomas Schools is a privately-owned coeducational boarding high school, at Thiruvananthapuram in the south Indian state of Kerala. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, located in separate sanctum sanatoriums, facing east. It is believed that this temple is one of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala and is installed by sage Parasurama dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located near the Kudappanakkunnu Civil Station on the Peroorkada-Mannanthala road. The main shrine and its surroundings however has its old charm punctured by crude constructions. Other deities in the Kunnathu temples worshiped are Ganapathy and Vasuki (snake). Annual festival of the temple celebrates in the Malayalam month of Dhanu (month) (December–January).
