The Portland Aquarium was a 12,500-square-foot (1,160 m2) for-profit aquarium in Oak Grove, Oregon, United States that opened to the public on December 15, 2012.On February 16, 2016 the aquarium closed and the animals will were distributed to other aquariums in its chain of private, for-profit aquariums. Many of the animals were sold to third parties. One of the founders, Vince Covino, went on to launch a chain of other aquariums and interactive wildlife attractions called SeaQuest.

Hog Island is owned by Clackamas County and maintained by a nonprofit group known as Willamette Riverkeeper. It is accessible by boat. The island's native plants include Oregon White Oak, Douglas Fir, Oregon grape, Snowberry, and Camas.

Cedar Island is a horseshoe-shaped island in the Willamette River in Clackamas County, Oregon. It is located within the city limits of West Linn, Oregon, and is a West Linn city park. The island is accessible by floating bridge during the spring, summer, and fall months. About half of Cedar Island was dredged in order to mine gravel, creating a large lagoon in the center of the island. The island is primarily used for recreational purposes such as fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing.

Even though Jennings Lodge is not part of Oregon City; the local elementary school (along with nearby Candy Lane Elementary) forms an exclave of the Oregon City School District.

Southeast Park Avenue is a light rail station on the MAX Orange Line located at Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard and Park Avenue in Oak Grove, an unincorporated area neighboring Milwaukie in Clackamas County, Oregon, in the United States. It is the terminus and southernmost stop on the Orange Line and has a 401-space park and ride facility.Older plans for the station included a parking garage south of Southeast Park Avenue that were later scrapped.Originally, it was planned that this station would be one of two MAX stations, the other being Southeast Bybee Boulevard (also on the Orange Line), that would have fare turnstiles installed as part of a TriMet pilot project during the testing of the Hop Fastpass electronic fare system in 2017, but those plans have not proceeded. On August 5, 2022, a MAX train collided into a stopblock and damaged parts of the platform.

To Grandmother's House is an outdoor wooden sculpture by Patrick Gracewood, installed near the Southeast Park Avenue station in Oak Grove, an unincorporated area neighboring Milwaukie in Clackamas County, Oregon, in the United States. It depicts an older woman holding a rabbit in her arms and was carved from a 75-year-old cedar tree, cut down for construction of the MAX Orange Line, over three years. The sculpture was installed on April 29, 2015.

Marylhurst University was a private applied liberal arts and business university in Marylhurst, Oregon. It was among the oldest collegiate degree-granting institutions in Oregon, having awarded its first degree in 1897. Marylhurst was founded as St. Mary's College and run for many years by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. The former campus is located about nine miles south of Portland, Oregon on the Willamette River. Although Marylhurst University was a Roman Catholic school, it served students of all faiths and backgrounds. The university offered bachelor's degree completion programs in diverse liberal arts and business fields, and graduate degrees in such fields as business and nonprofit administration, food systems and society, teaching, art therapy counseling, divinity and applied theology, and interdisciplinary studies. After its establishment in 1893, Marylhurst became the first women's liberal arts college in the Pacific Northwest. In 1974, Marylhurst College became a co-educational institution, and in 1998 it was reorganized as Marylhurst University through the addition of new academic programs. The university closed at the end of the summer of 2018. Declining enrollment was given as the main reason, with enrollment having dropped from 1,409 to 743 in just four years, from fall 2013 to fall 2017. In recent years, the university's student population had peaked around 2,000 during the Great Recession of 2007–2009. Prior to the closure, however, Marylhurst's faculty challenged this narrative.

The John and Elizabeth Kinsman House is a historic house near Milwaukie, Oregon, United States. Completed in 1964, it is a locally significant and almost unaltered example of the Contemporary Style of the late 1950s and early 1960s, which emphasized local materials and indoor-outdoor living and rejected continuity with earlier stylistic conventions. The house is set in landscaped grounds that are also unaltered from the historic period. Designer/builder John Kinsman built the house for himself and his wife Elizabeth using design elements characteristic of the mid-century period that he had also employed on his other projects.The house was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
