East Attica (Greek: Ανατολική Αττική) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of Attica. The regional unit covers the eastern part of the urban agglomeration of Athens, and also the rural area to its east.

Pikermi (Greek: Πικέρμι) is a suburb of Athens and a former community of East Attica regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Rafina-Pikermi, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 21.522 km2.

Ionidae or Ionidai (Ancient Greek: Ἰωνίδαι) was a deme (suburb) in ancient Attica, of the phyle of Aegeis, sending two delegates to the Athenian Boule.This deme, along with that of Cydantidae, venerated the kolokratai; these two demoi were the only ones, as far as we know, to venerate deities together.Its site is tentatively located near Draphi.

Attica Park, officially Attica Zoological Park (AZP), is a private zoo located in the suburb of Spata, approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Athens, Greece. It is the only zoo in Greece. The zoo is home to more than 1,500 animals representing 220 species, in an area of 20-hectares (49 acres). It is open 365 days a year.The zoo is a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and the European Association of Aquatic Mammals (EAAM).

Erchia or Erkhia (Ancient Greek: Ἐρχία; also spelled Ἔρχεια and Ἑρχιά) was a deme of ancient Attica, of the phyle of Aegeis, sending six or seven delegates to the Athenian Boule, but eleven delegates after 307/6 BCE. According to Stephanus of Byzantium, in Greek mythology, the name comes from an inhabitant of the deme who hosted Demeter.

Spata (Greek: Σπάτα), is a town 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of downtown Athens, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Spata-Artemida, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. The municipal unit (officially named Spata-Loutsa) has an area of 55.042 km2. It is part of the Athens metropolitan area.

Spata-Artemida (Greek: Σπάτα-Αρτέμιδα) is a municipality in the East Attica regional unit, Attica, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Spata. The municipality has an area of 73.695 km2.

Campion School is an English-language private international school in Athens, Greece, which provides an adapted British educational curriculum to approximately 650 children of foreign residents, the Greek diaspora and local Greeks, from Nursery through to Year 13 (ages three to eighteen). The pupils come from more than 40 different countries.

Conthyle or Konthyle (Ancient Greek: Κονθύλη) was a deme of ancient Attica, originally of the phyle of Pandionis, but after 224/3 BCE of the phyle of Ptolemais, sending one delegate to the Athenian Boule. There was an association among Conthyle, Cytherus, and Erchia. Its site is located southeast of modern Spata.

The Spata Training Centre (Greek: Προπονητικό Κέντρο Σπάτων) is the name given to AEK Athens' training complex, located in Spata near Spata International Airport. Also hosting the club's youth academy. The facility replaced the old Thrakomakedones Training Centre, which was in use until 2010.

Drafi (Greek: Ντράφι) is a residential settlement located in a semi-mountainous slopped region in the municipal unit of Pikermi, in the municipality Rafina–Pikermi, East Attica, Greece. It is situated east of Athens city center, on the slopes of the Penteliko Mountain. It was initially developed as a housing project for the Agricultural Worker Cooperarative "Pan" . It is bordering Pikermi, Dioni, Penteli, Anthousa and Pallini. Drafi is considered a middle-scale residential area, with many detached houses and luxury mansions. Its developmental stage peaked during 2000-2004, when large scale infrastructure works in East Attica, such as the new international airport in Spata, increased interest for new residences in the wider area. The road network is highly slopped and not fully developed, although Drafi offers a few wider roads than its neighbouring Dioni, such as Achaion St, connecting Drafi with Penteli and Anthousa. Drafi is also well connected towards the center of Pikermi, through Elaionon St. Drafi has faced wildfires multiple times in the past (considerable damages in 1995, 1998, 2009 and 2022).
