Upper Potamus

The Kaisariani Monastery (Greek: Μονή Καισαριανής) is an Eastern Orthodox monastery built on the north side of Mount Hymettus, near Athens, Greece.

Lower Potamus, Potamus Hypenerthen or Potamos Hypenerthen (Ancient Greek: Ποταμός ὑπένερθεν), was a deme of ancient Attica. It lay on the east coast north of Thoricus, and was once a populous place: it was celebrated as containing the sepulchre of Ion.Lower Potamus is tentatively located at Panepistemioupolis.

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA; Greek: Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, Ethnikó kai Kapodistriakó Panepistímio Athinón), usually referred to simply as the University of Athens (UoA), is a public university in Zografou, a suburban town in the Athens agglomeration, Greece.It has been in continuous operation since its establishment in 1837 and is the oldest higher education institution of the modern Greek state and the first contemporary university in both the Balkan Peninsula and the Eastern Mediterranean. Papagou (Greek: Παπάγου or Παπάγος Papagos) is a [ suburban town and municipal unit in the eastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. The town is named after Marshal Alexandros Papagos, a general who led the Greek Army in the Second World War and the Greek Civil War, before becoming Prime Minister of Greece. The Greek Ministry of National Defense is located in town. Papagou was part of the municipality of Cholargos until 1965, when it became a separate community. It became a municipality in 1982. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Papagou-Cholargos, of which it is a municipal unit according to the Kallikratis Plan.

The National Stadium of Vyronas is located in the town of Vyronas, located east of Athens, at the foot of Mount Imittos, only 3 km away from Athens city proper. The stadium is next to the cemetery, in the end of Vyronas. The stadium was created in an old quarry, so it is also known as the "damaria", which means quarry. It was built in 1990 and belongs to the Municipality of Vyronas. It is the home of Athinaikos. The record attendance is 5,803 for a match between Athinaikos and Panathinaikos in 1991. The current seating capacity is 4,340.

Zografou (Greek: Ζωγράφου, romanized: Zōgráfou) is a suburban town of approximately 71,000 in the eastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. It was named after the Greek politician Ioannis Zografos. To the east of Zografou lies mount Hymettus. The area, being close to the centre of Athens, developed similar urban sprawl characteristics, with high-rise buildings of even 10 stories tall being the norm. The municipality is also home to the National and Kapodistrian university of Athens and National Technical university of Athens campuses and a significant percentage of the local population are students, faculty and employees of both institutions. Zografou includes the smaller areas of Ilissia and Goudi.

National Glyptotheque (Greek: Εθνική Γλυπτοθήκη) is a sculpture museum located in Athens, Greece. It is an annex of the National Gallery of Greece. The museum was established in 2004 and became the first National Glyptotheque of Greece. It houses a permanent collection of Greek sculpture from the 19th and the 20th centuries and temporary exhibitions, mainly of sculpture. The museum is based in two buildings of the former royal stables and a surrounding area of 6,500 m2, situated at the "Alsos Stratou" (Army Park) in Goudi.So far, the museum has hosted two temporary exhibitions. The exhibition Marino Marini (1901-1980) (June–October 2006) and a retrospective exhibition of Yannoulis Chalepas (February–September 2007).

The Badminton Theater (Greek: Θέατρο Badminton) is a venue utilized for the staging of medium- and large-scale multiplex events. Situated inside the metropolitan park of Goudi in Athens, Greece, the theater was originally designed to host concerts, plays, dance performances and musicals. As of 2012, conferences, meetings, presentations and corporate events are also held at the venue due to the construction of additional facilities.

The Olympic Modern Pentathlon Centre was the site of the modern pentathlon events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The venue seats 2,500 for the swimming part of the competition, 5,000 for the riding and running parts each, and 3,000 for the fencing and shooting. Construction at the facility was completed on 30 May 2004 and it was officially opened exactly two months later. This venue is located in the Goudi Olympic Complex. It hosted a modern pentathlon World Cup event in 2005.

Philippine School in Greece (PSG), formerly the Katipunan Philippine Cultural Academy-Philippine School (KAPHILCA-PSG) is a Philippine international school in Vyronas, Attica, Greece; it was previously in Ambelokipi, Athens. The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) supervises the school, which operates under the Cultural Section of the Philippine embassy in Athens. It is Europe's sole Philippine international school.
