Upper Agryle, or Agryle Kathyperthen (Ancient Greek: Ἀγρυλὴ καθύπερθεν), was a deme of ancient Attica, one of two demoi of Agryle. The site of Upper Agryle is located southwest of modern Ardettos.

Philippine School in Greece (PSG), formerly the Katipunan Philippine Cultural Academy-Philippine School (KAPHILCA-PSG) is a Philippine international school in Vyronas, Attica, Greece; it was previously in Ambelokipi, Athens. The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) supervises the school, which operates under the Cultural Section of the Philippine embassy in Athens. It is Europe's sole Philippine international school.

Kaisariani (Greek: Καισαριανή) is a suburban town and a municipality in the eastern part of the Athens agglomeration in Greece.

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA; Greek: Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, Ethnikó kai Kapodistriakó Panepistímio Athinón), usually referred to simply as the University of Athens (UoA), is a public university in Zografou, a suburban town in the Athens agglomeration, Greece.It has been in continuous operation since its establishment in 1837 and is the oldest higher education institution of the modern Greek state and the first contemporary university in both the Balkan Peninsula and the Eastern Mediterranean. Today it is one of the largest universities by enrollment in Europe, with over 69,000 registered students.

Vyronas (Greek: Βύρωνας) is a suburban town and a municipality in the southeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. The town is named after George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron, the famous English poet and writer, who is a national hero of Greece. Formerly part of the municipality of Athens, Vyronas was created as a community in 1933, and became a municipality in 1934. The municipality has an area of 9.204 km2.Vyronas is an inner suburb of Athens, located about 3 km southeast of Athens city centre. Towards the southeast the municipality extends to the forested Hymettus mountain. The built-up area of Vyronas is continuous with that of municipality of Athens and the neighbouring suburbs Kaisariani, Ymittos and Ilioupoli. Motorway 64 runs through the southeastern part of the municipality.

Gounaropoulos Museum is located in Athens, Greece. Founded in 1979, it belongs to the municipality of Zografou and aims to present and promote the work of the painter Giorgos Gounaropoulos. The museum is housed in the artist's home and atelier, and contains 40 oil paintings and drawings, the artist's personal belongings and archive. Guided tours and educational programs are offered, and a variety of art exhibitions, lectures and other cultural events are hosted.

Daedalidae or Daidalidai (Ancient Greek: Δαιδαλίδαι) was a deme of ancient Attica, located north of Alopece, southeast of Athens. The name "Daedalidae" was often used to refer to the most skilled sculptors an allusion to Daedalus, the labyrinth builder of Knossos. Socrates, in two dialogues of Plato, claims to descend from Daedalus, most likely exploiting this allusion, in which his ancestors would have been sculptors. In Daedalidae, therefore, a craftsman named Daedalus could have been revered as an eponymous hero, which was most probably not the same as the Daedalus of mythology. Some sources note the presence of a sanctuary called Dedaleion. The site of Daedalidae is located north of Alopeke.

Lower Potamus, Potamus Hypenerthen or Potamos Hypenerthen (Ancient Greek: Ποταμός ὑπένερθεν), was a deme of ancient Attica. It lay on the east coast north of Thoricus, and was once a populous place: it was celebrated as containing the sepulchre of Ion.Lower Potamus is tentatively located at Panepistemioupolis.

Zografou (Greek: Ζωγράφου, romanized: Zōgráfou) is a suburban town of approximately 71,000 in the eastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. It was named after the Greek politician Ioannis Zografos. To the east of Zografou lies mount Hymettus. The area, being close to the centre of Athens, developed similar urban sprawl characteristics, with high-rise buildings of even 10 stories tall being the norm. The municipality is also home to the National and Kapodistrian university of Athens and National Technical university of Athens campuses and a significant percentage of the local population are students, faculty and employees of both institutions. Zografou includes the smaller areas of Ilissia and Goudi.

Alopece (Ancient Greek: Ἀλωπεκή, romanised: Alopeke, also spelt as Alopecae) was an asty-deme of the city of Athens, but located exterior to the city wall of Athens. Alopece was situated only eleven or twelve stadia from the city, and not far from Cynosarges. It possessed a temple of Aphrodite, and also apparently one of Hermaphroditus.The location of Alopece is near current day Koutsopodi. Alopece belonged to the tribal group Antiochis.

Ilisia (Greek: Ιλίσια pronounced [iˈli.si.a]) is a neighborhood of Athens, Greece, named after the river Ilisos. A portion of the neighborhood, Ano Ilisia (Upper Ilisia), is in Zografou and is near the Theology, Philosophy and Scientific faculties of the University of Athens. The lower (western) part is also known as the "Hilton" neighborhood due to the proximity of the Hilton Athens hotel. Ilisia is named after the Ilisos river, which rises near Kaisariani on the slopes of Mount Hymettus and which, although Athens' historic river, is barely noticeable except in heavy rain. The name originally used for the villa of Sophie de Marbois-Lebrun, Duchess of Plaisance (Villa Ilisia), that was built near Ilisos river in 1848. Today this building hosts the Byzantine Museum.

Lower Ancyle or Ankyle Hypenerthen (Ancient Greek: Ἀγκυλή ὑπένερθεν) was the name of a deme of ancient Attica. It was located east of Athens and bordering Agryle to the south. Upper Ancyle passed from the phyle Aigeis to Antigonis in 307/306 BCE; Lower Ancyle remained in the Aigeis phyle.In the 3rd century, in Roman times, the demoi were home to rich landed properties. Their name derives from the Greek name for "javelin" (which was thrown with a rope). The same root also appears in an epithet attributed to Cronus and to Prometheus, "of sharp wits". The site of Lower Ancyle is located northeast of modern Ardettos.
