The Druk Yul Park is a small park in the 23rd district of Liesing in the south of Vienna, Austria. The park is located at the junction of Speisinger Street with Wittgenstein Street and Rosen Hügel Street in Liesing.

The First Vienna Mountain Spring Pipeline (I. Wiener Hochquellenwasserleitung) is a major part of Vienna's water supply and was the first source of safe drinking water for that city. The 95 km long line was opened on 24 October 1873, after four years of construction. Today, it delivers 62 million cubic meters of water per year (53% of Vienna's total supply in 2007). The water comes from high springs in the Rax and Schneeberg areas in Southern Lower Austria and Styria.

The Kirche Zur Heiligsten Dreifaltigkeit (English: Church of the Most Holy Trinity) in Vienna, better known as the Wotruba Church, is located on the Sankt Georgenberg in Mauer (corner of Rysergasse and Georgsgasse) in Liesing, the 23rd District of Vienna. It was built between August 1974 and October 1976 on the basis of a model by Fritz Wotruba. Wotruba died before the completion of the church, which was inspired by a visit to Chartres Cathedral. To Wotruba, Chartres represented the essence of Europe, and Wotruba subsequently held up Chartres as a yardstick to his own work. Wotruba was first and foremost a sculptor, and the church was a collaboration with Fritz G. Mayr, who continued the work after Wotruba's death. The building consists of 152 asymmetrically arranged concrete blocks of a size between 0.84 m3 to 64 m3, weighing from 1.8 to 141 tons; the highest block measures 13.10m. The church, which borders the Wienerwald, is 30 m long, 22 m wide, and 15.5 m high. The unusual design created some local resistance. During the Third Reich, the site where the church is located housed German Wehrmacht barracks.

Liesing (German pronunciation: [ˈliːzɪŋ] (listen)) is the 23rd district of Vienna. It is on the southwest edge of Vienna, Austria.It was formed after Austria's Anschluss with Germany, when Vienna expanded from 21 districts to 26. Fifteen Lower Austrian districts, especially the old legal jurisdiction of Liesing, were incorporated into the 25th district.After the allied occupation of Vienna, this law was not recognized and Liesing became a part of Lower Austria in the Soviet occupation zone. In 1946, a law intended to alter the districts of Vienna was vetoed by the occupation authorities. In 1954 the objection was withdrawn. Liesing was one of only two districts that remained in Vienna in the new organization. The areas Breitenfurt bei Wien, Laab im Walde, Purkersdorf, Perchtoldsdorf, Vösendorf, and Kaltenleutgeben returned to Lower Austria. Since 1954, the 23rd district has been composed of the following former districts: Atzgersdorf, Erlaa, Inzersdorf, Kalksburg, Liesing, Mauer, Rodaun, and Siebenhirten.

Wien Hetzendorf is a Vienna S-Bahn station, served by S1 and S2. The station is 1.63 km (1.01 mi) west of Wien Meidling. The station is situated between Altmannsdorfer Straße and Hetzendorfer Straße. Connections are available to Lines 16A, 62A, 64A of Wiener Linien Bus service and Line 62 of Wiener Linien Tram service.

Wien Liesing is a railway station in the 23 district of Vienna. The station is located 7 km (4.3 mi) southwest of Meidling station and is served by S-Bahn and most ÖBB Regional trains. The station was opened in 1841 along with the Southern Railway. The history Liesing brewery has been converted in 2010 to a shopping mall and is one block west of the station.

Kalksburg (German pronunciation: [ˈkalksˌbʊʁk] (listen)) is a former municipality in Lower Austria that is now a part of the 23rd Viennese district Liesing. Today, the cadastral commune Atzgersdorf has got an area of 375,7 hectare.

Wien Speising is a railway station serving Hietzing, the thirteenth district of Vienna.

Atzgersdorf (German pronunciation: [ˈat͡sɡɐsˌdɔʁf] (listen); Central Bavarian: Atzgasduaf) is a former municipality in Lower Austria that is now a part of the 23rd Viennese district Liesing. A small part of the former municipality today is part of the 12th Viennese district Meidling. Today, the cadastral commune Atzgersdorf has an area of 411,42 hectares. The part that belongs to Meidling has an area of 35 hectares.

Kalksburg College, also known as College of the Immaculate Virgin, is a Catholic private school according to public law in the 23rd district of Liesing in Vienna, Austria.

Hermesvilla is a palace in the Lainzer Tiergarten in Vienna, a former hunting area for the Habsburg nobility. Emperor Franz Joseph I gave it to his wife Empress Elisabeth (nicknamed "Sisi"), and he called it the "castle of dreams.“ The name of the villa refers to a statue of Hermes made of white marble that is located in the garden of the villa. Today, the Hermesvilla is noted for its art and natural setting, and is used by the Vienna Museum for special exhibitions on cultural history.
