Rio Meão

The Residence of Portela (Portuguese: Casa da Portela) is a 17th-century country house located in the civil parish of Paços de Brandão, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, in the Portuguese Centro district of Aveiro. It was classified as a monument in 1982.

The population in 2011 was 4,867, in an area of 3.56 km². It is 22 km from Porto, and is part of the Porto Metropolitan Area. Its foundation dates back to more than 900 years ago, associated with the Norman Fernand Blandon. It became a town in 1985. Among its highlights is the Festa dos Arcos, which occurs every August in the center of the town, and Inês Lopo, a notable nuclear medicine resident and marathon runner.

São Paio de Oleiros is known for its cork industries.

Its name of inhabitants are known as Feirense. Official city name: Santa Maria da Feira. The surrounding area is often known as Terras de Santa Maria. The parish is the location of a medieval castle. It is also famous for its local bread named fogaça and its local market.

Cortegaça is a small village and a civil parish in the Ovar Municipality, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 3,837, in an area of 9.23 km2 (3.56 sq mi).It is a village dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries, associated with the repopulation of the lands of Santa Maria da Feira. Cortegaça belonged to the municipality of Feira (Santa Maria da Feira) but today belongs to the municipality of Ovar, becoming a village from 1985. It has the first green area when travelling south of Porto, with a forest of 516 hectare, and the Buçaquinho Environmental Park. It's also known for having one of the most beautiful churches in Portugal, the Igreja de Santa Marinha de Cortegaça was built between 1910 and 1918. It is all covered by blue tiles from the 20th century and is flanked by an old cemetery, characterized by having a lot architectural styles, with a detach to neogotic style. It also have two palm trees in its churchyard, popular by their longevity and height. In 2018, some vestiges and bones from different ages were discovered near the church. including pieces of clay more than 3000 years old. Cortegaça has two beaches - an urban beach (Santa Marinha of Cortegaça beach) and another, flanked by forest and dunes, named Maceda beach or South Cortegaça beach.

Lourosa (Portuguese pronunciation: [lowˈɾɔzɐ]) is a Portuguese civil parish (Pt.freguesia) and a city (Pt.cidade), located in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. The population in 2011 was 8,636, in an area of 5.77 km². Lourosa obtained city status in 2001.

Esmoriz (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ʒmuˈɾiʃ]) is a Portuguese city located 25 kilometers (16 mi) south of Porto. It is a freguesia ("parish") of the municipality of Ovar, and part of the Região de Aveiro. The population in 2011 was 11,448, in an area of 9.17 km². Esmoriz was given city status in 1993.

Estadio Marcolino de Castro is a multi-use stadium in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of Segunda Liga club CD Feirense. The stadium is able to hold 5,600 people. The stadium was built and opened in 1962. The stadium's first ever match was between the home side and Beira-Mar which ended 0-0. It also hosted another game on the opening day of the stadium which was between SC Espinho and Sanjoanense which ended 3-1 to SC Espinho. The stadium was constructed in 1962 because CD Feirense had to move into a bigger ground due to promotion to the Portuguese Liga.
