Paços de Brandão

The Residence of Portela (Portuguese: Casa da Portela) is a 17th-century country house located in the civil parish of Paços de Brandão, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, in the Portuguese Centro district of Aveiro. It was classified as a monument in 1982.

The village became a town on September 25, 1985.

The population in 2011 was 5,790, in an area of 5.10 km².It is supposed (in the Medieval documents), the older name of the parish was known as "Nogeira de Liuaes". The second part of that name is related to the present locality of Olivães.

Esmoriz (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ʒmuˈɾiʃ]) is a Portuguese city located 25 kilometers (16 mi) south of Porto. It is a freguesia ("parish") of the municipality of Ovar, and part of the Região de Aveiro. The population in 2011 was 11,448, in an area of 9.17 km². Esmoriz was given city status in 1993.

Mozelos is located 8 km from the city of Espinho and around 20 km from Porto. The district capital Aveiro is approximately 50 km from the town. In 1097, the village was known as Moazellus. They still have a Roman road nearby the church. It declared itself a town on June 24, 1989 and it celebrates the transition to a town every June 24. It is the place where Américo Amorim lived for some years.

Cortegaça is a small village and a civil parish in the Ovar Municipality, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 3,837, in an area of 9.23 km2 (3.56 sq mi).It is a village dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries, associated with the repopulation of the lands of Santa Maria da Feira. Cortegaça belonged to the municipality of Feira (Santa Maria da Feira) but today belongs to the municipality of Ovar, becoming a village from 1985. It has the first green area when travelling south of Porto, with a forest of 516 hectare, and the Buçaquinho Environmental Park. It's also known for having one of the most beautiful churches in Portugal, the Igreja de Santa Marinha de Cortegaça was built between 1910 and 1918. It is all covered by blue tiles from the 20th century and is flanked by an old cemetery, characterized by having a lot architectural styles, with a detach to neogotic style. It also have two palm trees in its churchyard, popular by their longevity and height. In 2018, some vestiges and bones from different ages were discovered near the church. including pieces of clay more than 3000 years old. Cortegaça has two beaches - an urban beach (Santa Marinha of Cortegaça beach) and another, flanked by forest and dunes, named Maceda beach or South Cortegaça beach.

Lourosa (Portuguese pronunciation: [lowˈɾɔzɐ]) is a Portuguese civil parish (Pt.freguesia) and a city (Pt.cidade), located in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. The population in 2011 was 8,636, in an area of 5.77 km². Lourosa obtained city status in 2001.

Espinho (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɨʃˈpiɲu] ) is a city and a municipality located in the Aveiro District, Portugal. It is located in both the Greater Porto and the Metropolitan Area of Porto, 16 km from its city centre. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Portugal and was, until 1899, part of the Santa Maria da Feira Municipality. In 2021, Espinho had a population of 31,027, a slight decrease from the previous census in 2011, when 31,786 were registered, in an area of 21.06 km².The current Mayor is Miguel Reis, elected by the PS. It is a beach resort and a zone of legal gambling with a casino - Casino Solverde. Its fair - Feira de Espinho, having been first organised in 1894, is well known in Portugal. The city is home to CINANIMA - Festival Internacional de Cinema de Animação, an international animation festival, and FEST - New Directors New Films Festival, an international film festival. The municipal holiday is June 16.
