Jharoda Majra Burari is a census town in North Delhi District in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, India. It is a municipal corporation in New Delhi. It is divided into three areas: Jharoda part 01, Jharoda part 02, and Jharoda part 03

The Delhi Durbar (lit. "Court of Delhi") was an Indian imperial-style mass assembly organized by the British at Coronation Park, Delhi, India, to mark the succession of an Emperor or Empress of India. Also known as the Imperial Durbar, it was held three times, in 1877, 1903, and 1911, at the height of the British Empire. The 1911 Durbar was the only one that a sovereign, George V, attended. The term was derived from the common Persian term durbar.

Yamuna biodiversity park, located on Yamuna river front is a 9770 hectares biodiversity area in Delhi, India. It is developed by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) with the technical help of Centre for Environmental Management of Degraded Ecosystems (CEMDE), University of Delhi. It serves as an ideal alternative habitat for migratory and resident bird species. It also is designed to conserve the wild genetic resources of agricultural crops and enhance groundwater recharge and augment freshwater availability.

Coronation Park is a park located on Burari Road near Nirankari Sarovar in Delhi, India. The park is sometimes referred to as the Coronation Memorial; it was the venue of the Delhi Durbar of 1877 when Queen Victoria was proclaimed the Empress of India. Later it was used to celebrate the accession of King Edward VII in 1903, and, finally, it was here that the Durbar commemorating the coronation of King George V as Emperor of India took place on 12 December 1911, subsequent to his coronation at Westminster Abbey in June 1911. This last celebration had all the princely states in attendance. The decision to hold the Coronation Durbars in Delhi at the vast open ground at Coronation Park was a move to emphasise the historical significance of Delhi as the former capital of the Mughal Empire.Coronation Park has the largest and tallest statue of King George V. The statue was moved here in the mid-1960s from a site opposite India Gate in the centre of New Delhi. It is opposite the Obelisk called the Coronation Memorial, which commemorates the 1911 Durbar, when George V laid the foundation stone for the new capital city of New Delhi.

It was built in the early 1950s by the DLF Group, then known as Delhi Land and Finance, and is one of the first privately developed neighborhoods in Delhi. Model Town is a large area and divided into blocks and sub-colonies. It is one of the three administrative divisions of the North Delhi district, along with Alipur and Narela.

Bhalswa Horseshoe Lake, or Bhalswa Jheel, is a lake in northwest Delhi, India. It was originally shaped like a horseshoe. However, over the years half of it was used as a landfill area. Now a low income housing colony, an extension of the nearby town of Bhalswa Jahangir Puri, Mukundpur, has been built on it, destroying the once excellent wetland ecosystem and wildlife habitat of the region which once played host to scores of local and migratory wildlife species, especially waterbirds, including waterfowl, storks and cranes. This horseshoe lake was originally formed when the nearby River Yamuna left behind one of its meandering loops here when it changed course over the years and is now channelled through more defined and fortified embankments and dykes to defend modern Delhi from floods. The International Hostel for Girls opposite Indira Vihar is also located near Dhaka. The place is 10 mins walk from Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Nagar Metro Station and is primarily inhabited by people from the northern part of India mostly Chauhans (Rajputs).The area houses accommodation for students studying in DU and for IAS coaching classes.

Mukherjee Nagar, Popularly Known for SSC CGL Preparation, is a place in northern Delhi. It is located near GTB Nagar metro station of Yellow line. It is also known as Kingsway Camp. The place is a prominent commercial location for hundreds of private institutions that provide coaching for UPSC and SSC entrance exams. It is considered one of the two hubs of coaching institutes in Delhi, the other being in Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. Unlike other big players in the industry of educational coaching in India, which prepare students for admissions in institutes for higher education, most institutes in Mukherjee Nagar are government job oriented.
