The Tianma Tea House is a former tea house in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the site where an enforcement officer from the Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau of the Taiwan Provincial Government accidentally shot a civilian on 27 February 1947. The incident led to the island-wide anti-government uprising by the Taiwanese people called the February 28 Incident and the implementation of White Terror in Taiwan from 1949 to 1987.The tea house building has long been on the route of the annual march to commemorate the February 28 Incident in Taipei by government officials or civilians.

The Chen Dexing Ancestral Hall (traditional Chinese: 陳德星堂; simplified Chinese: 陈德星堂; pinyin: Chén Déxīng Táng) is an ancestral shrine in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Immaculate Conception Cathedral (Chinese: 聖母無原罪主教座堂; pinyin: Shèngmǔwú Yuánzuì Zhǔjiào Zuòtáng) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. The Latin Rite church serves as the see of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Taipei (Archidioecesis Taipehensis; 天主教台北總教區) that was created by Pope Pius XII with the Bull "Gravia illa Christi".

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Taipei (Latin: Archidioecesis Taipehensis) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Taiwan. Pope Pius XII erected it as the Apostolic Prefecture of Taipei on 30 December 1949. On 7 August 1952, it was elevated to an archdiocese, with the suffragan sees of Chiayi, Hsinchu, Hualien, Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Tainan. The archdiocese's cathedral is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. As the only metropolitan in Taiwan, it is the principal episcopal see of that country. Pope Francis accepted the mandatory resignation of John Hung Shan-chuan upon reaching retirement age and appointed Thomas Chung An-zu as Archbishop of Taipei on 23 May 2020. For many years, each person appointed Archbishop of Taipei has also been appointed as Apostolic Administrator of the Kinmen and Matsu islands, which form part of the Diocese of Xiamen.

Blessed Imelda's School is a private Catholic secondary school, located in Taipei, Taiwan. Established in 1916 by the Dominican sisters, it is the oldest Catholic school in Taiwan. The school is named in honour of Blessed Imelda Lambertini, a 14th century Dominican sister.

Dadaocheng is an area in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was also known as Twatutia (a transliteration of the Taiwanese Hokkien Tōa-tiū-tiâⁿ), Daitōtei during Japanese rule, and Tataocheng (Mandarin) during the Kuomintang era. Dadaocheng was an important trading port in the 19th century, and is still a major historical tourist attraction and shopping area. The district is known for the local Taiwanese cuisine, the Chien-Cheng Circle, and also being the center of the February 28 Incident.

The Customs Museum (traditional Chinese: 海關博物館; simplified Chinese: 海关博物馆; pinyin: Hǎiguān Bówùguǎn) is a museum concerning the customs service in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. The museum is located inside the Customs Building.

The Taipei Xia-Hai City God Temple (Chinese: 大稻埕霞海城隍廟; lit. 'Dadaocheng Xia-Hai God Temple') is a temple dedicated to the City God or Cheng Huang Ye (城隍爺) in Taipei, Taiwan.

The Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance (CA; Chinese: 財政部關務署; pinyin: Cáizhèngbù Guānwushǔ) is the agency of the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan (ROC) dealing with customs policies and regulations in Taiwan.

Huang Hsiang Taipei Square (Chinese: 皇翔臺北廣場) is a skyscraper office building located on Section 1, Chengde Road, Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. Topped out in 2021, the height of the building is 119.25 m (391.2 ft), and it comprises 23 floors above ground and 5 floors below ground, with a total floor area of 57,099.17 m2 (614,610.4 sq ft). As of September 2024, it is the tallest building in Datong District. The building was originated designated as a Marriott Hotel, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism industry has been greatly affected. Therefore, in 2020, the use of the skyscraper was changed to an office building instead.

The Taipei Bus Station (Chinese: 台北轉運站; pinyin: Táiběi Zhuǎnyùnzhàn) is a multi-use complex located next to Taipei Station in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. The complex houses the Taipei bus terminal station provided a number of intercity express bus routes which was inaugurated on 19 August 2009, as well as recreational and leisure facilities. The mall complex was inaugurated on 11 December 2009. The shopping mall part is called Qsquare.

Taipei Main Station is a terminus of the Taoyuan Airport MRT in Taipei, Taiwan. Located roughly 250 metres (820 ft) west of Taipei railway station and 200 metres (660 ft) east of Beimen metro station, the station is connected to the Taipei railway station through a 115 metres (377 ft) long underground walkway, and to Beimen station through another underground walkway. It is the busiest station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT. The station is served by both express and commuter trains, and provides in-town check in services for outbound flights. Currently, four airlines offer this service.
