Taipei Main Station (Taoyuan Metro)

Station Front Metro Mall (Chinese: 站前地下街; pinyin: Zhànqián Dìxiàjiē) is an underground shopping center located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is located directly underneath Zhongxiao West Road and is connected with Taipei Main Station.

The Taipei Twin Towers (Chinese: 台北雙子星大樓; pinyin: Táiběi Shuāngzǐxīng Dàlóu) is a supertall skyscraper development in Taipei, Taiwan. Scheduled to be completed in 2027, it includes two skyscrapers, the taller of which is 360 metres (1,181 ft) with 76 floors and the shorter of which is 280 metres (919 ft) with 56 floors. It is located near Taipei Station, Shin Kong Life Tower, and Taipei Bus Station. When the complex is complete, it will be the second tallest building in Taipei and third tallest in Taiwan after Taipei 101 and Kaohsiung's 85 Sky Tower. It is estimated to cost NT$12 billion (US$414 million). The project was originally designed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki for the initial 2005 bid that planned to finish constructing the skyscrapers by 2011. However, it was delayed multiples times due to a series of complication in the bidding process, which was restarted in 2018 again for the sixth time.In the latest round of bids, two proposals were submitted. In December 2018 the bid submitted by a consortium led by Hong Kong-based Nan Hai Development Ltd and Malaysian property developer Malton Berhad was named the most favored bidder. The skyscrapers were designed by MVRDV in collaboration with CHY Architecture Urban Landscape to revitalise the central station area in the capital's Zhongzheng District and was to be constructed as a pile of blocks, each fronted by screens that will display "major cultural spectacles, sporting events, and advertising", establishing the area as "a Times Square for Taiwan". In June 2019, the most favored bidder status was revoked by Taiwan's Investment Commission under the Ministry of Economic Affairs due to national security concerns because it found Nan Hai to be Chinese-funded and the majority of its board members hailing from China. The bid was subsequently awarded in December 2019 to the runner-up, a consortium led by Taiwanese computer maker Clevo and its property development affiliate Hongwell Group with designs by American architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP.The basement of building C1 is the terminus for the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

The Kee Tai Zhongxiao (Chinese: 基泰忠孝; pinyin: Jī Tài Zhōngxìao) is a 151.5 m (497 ft), 37-storey mixed-used skyscraper located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building started construction in 2012 and was completed in 2019. The floor area of the building is 25,605 m2 (275,610 sq ft), and it comprises 37 floors above ground, as well as six basement levels. As of January 2021, the building is the second tallest building in Zhongzheng District, after Shin Kong Life Tower.

The Caesar Park Taipei (Chinese: 板橋凱撒大飯店) is a five-star luxury hotel in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. Opened on July 15, 1973 as Hilton Taipei, the hotel has 478 rooms in 6 types and suites and an exercise room, a spa and a rooftop garden. Banquet facilities and a business center are available. The 1st and B1 floors house Caesars Mall Food Court. Foreign celebrities who have visited include American movie star Elizabeth Taylor, former U.S. President Bill Clinton (while governor), American singers Tom Jones and Tina Turner and others.

Huang Hsiang Taipei Square (Chinese: 皇翔臺北廣場) is a skyscraper office building located on Section 1, Chengde Road, Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. Topped out in 2021, the height of the building is 119.25 m (391.2 ft), and it comprises 23 floors above ground and 5 floors below ground, with a total floor area of 57,099.17 m2 (614,610.4 sq ft). As of September 2024, it is the tallest building in Datong District. The building was originated designated as a Marriott Hotel, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tourism industry has been greatly affected. Therefore, in 2020, the use of the skyscraper was changed to an office building instead.

The Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (BAMID; traditional Chinese: 文化部影視及流行音樂產業局; simplified Chinese: 文化部影视及流行音乐产业局; pinyin: Wénhuàbù Yǐngshìjí Liúxíng Yīnyuè Chǎnyèjú) is the bureau of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China responsible for supervising and promoting film, broadcasting, television and popular music sectors of Taiwan.

The Taipei Bus Station (Chinese: 台北轉運站; pinyin: Táiběi Zhuǎnyùnzhàn) is a multi-use complex located next to Taipei Station in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. The complex houses the Taipei bus terminal station provided a number of intercity express bus routes which was inaugurated on 19 August 2009, as well as recreational and leisure facilities. The mall complex was inaugurated on 11 December 2009. The shopping mall part is called Qsquare.

CHP Tower (Chinese: 中華郵政塔), is an approved, 203.5 m (668 ft), 44-storey skyscraper office building located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. With a total floor area of 174,700 m2 (1,880,000 sq ft), the building is expected to be completed in 2032. The building is going to be among the top 10 tallest buildings in Taipei upon completion. The expected cost of construction is NT$22,728,000,000.

Taipei Post Office (Chinese: 臺北郵局; pinyin: Táiběi Yóujú; Minnan: Tâi-pak Iû-kiȯk) or Taipei Beimen Post Office (Chinese: 臺北北門郵局; pinyin: Táiběi Běimén Yóujú; Minnan: Tâi-pak Pak-bûn Iû-kiȯk) is a four-story building located close to Beimen (lit. "North Gate") in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building is listed a historic site. It is the main post office of Chunghwa Post in Taipei, supervising all the postal businesses of the 143 branch offices in Taipei City.

Shin Kong Life Tower (Chinese: 新光人壽保險摩天大樓; pinyin: Xīnguāng Rénshòu Bǎoxiǎn Mótiān Dàlóu), at 51 stories and a height of 245 meters (803.8 ft), is one of Taiwan's earliest skyscrapers. The rose-colored tower topped by a pyramid stands in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, and dates from 1993. Its first twelve floors and two underground floors house a Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store; the remaining floors provide office space and serve as headquarters for the Shin Kong Life insurance company. The building stands across Zhongxiao Road from Taipei Main Station near the Asiaworld Department Store.The Shin Kong Life Tower was Taiwan's tallest building when it opened in 1993. The twin towers of the nearby Far Eastern Plaza, built at the same time, approached it in height. In 1997 the Tuntex 85 Sky Tower in the city of Kaohsiung became Taiwan's tallest. New height records were then set by Taipei 101 in 2004.

The Railway Department of the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan 台灣總督府交通局鐵道部 is a National Historic Site in Taiwan, also known as the Taihoku Railway Bureau or the Railway Department of the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan's Bureau of Transportation. The site, near the Taipei North Gate, was in use for railway administration during the late Qing, but the extant building is a Japanese colonial administrative building in Taipei dating from 1919. It was granted national monument status in 2007, and is a part of the National Taiwan Museum.

The Taipei West District Gateway Project (Chinese: 西區門戶計畫) is a comprehensive urban renewal initiative launched by the Taipei City Government in 2014. Centred around Taipei Main Station, the project aims to revitalise the city's western core by integrating transportation infrastructure, restoring historical landmarks, and promoting economic development. This initiative seeks to balance the city's development, which had previously been concentrated in the eastern districts, e.g Da'an and Xinyi.
