Ochten

Kesteren is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 8 km southwest of Wageningen. Kesteren was a separate municipality until 2002, when it merged with Dodewaard and Echteld. The new municipality was first called "Kesteren", but changed its name to Neder-Betuwe in 2003.

Kesteren is a railway station located in Kesteren, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 November 1882 and is on the Elst–Dordrecht railway. Train services are operated by Arriva. Between 1945 and 1981, this station was called Kesteren- Rhenen.The station was the terminus of the line from Amersfoort, which allowed a faster journey time to Nijmegen from Amsterdam. The line still exists between Amersfoort and Leusden, Near Overberg to Rhenen and Kesteren station itself. The section between Amersfoort and Leusden is still in use and is known as the Ponlijn and the section between Rhenen and Kesteren is still in uses as the Veenendaallijn.

Boven-Leeuwen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 9 km east of Tiel. It is the protestant part of the former village of Leeuwen.

Puiflijk is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Druten, and lies about 12 km south of Wageningen. Puiflijk was a separate municipality until 1818, when it was merged with Druten.

IJzendoorn is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 8 km east of Tiel. IJzendoorn was a separate municipality between 1818 and 1923, when it was merged with Echteld.

Lede en Oudewaard is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Neder-Betuwe, and lies about 8 km west of Wageningen. Lede en Oudewaard was a separate municipality between 1818 and 1822, at which time it was merged with Kesteren.Lede was first mentioned probably in 1235 as ter Lee, and means "dug stream". Oudewaard was first mentioned in 1326 as "de Weert te Kester", and means the old land near water. The postal authorities have placed the hamlet under Kesteren. Until 1800, it was an heerlijkheid. In 1840, it was home to 147 people.

Aalst is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 10 km southwest of Wageningen. Between 1811 and 1998, Aalst belonged to the municipality of Lienden. In the middle of the 19th century, the population of Aalst was 150; there was a nice mansion called "Kolvenschoten" located here.It was first mentioned around 1400 as Aelst. The etymology is unclear. The postal authorities have placed it under Lienden. In 1840, it was home to 205 people.

Druten (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdrytə(n)] (listen)) is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. The municipality covers the eastern part of the Land van Maas en Waal region of the province of Gelderland. One of its key features is the town's church, designed by architect Pierre Cuypers. The church is dedicated to the Two Ewalds, with statues for the two made in the studio Atelier Cuypers-Stoltzenberg, owned by Cuypers and Frans Stoltzenberg.

Leeuwen is a former municipality consisting two villages of Beneden-Leeuwen and Boven-Leeuwen, now in the municipality of West Maas en Waal, in the Dutch province of Gelderland . Leeuwen was a separate municipality until 1818, when it was merged with Wamel.

The Waal (Dutch name, pronounced [ʋaːl]) is the main distributary branch of the river Rhine flowing approximately 80 km (50 mi) through the Netherlands. It is the major waterway connecting the port of Rotterdam to Germany. Before it reaches Rotterdam, it joins with the Afgedamde Maas near Woudrichem to form the Boven Merwede. Along its length, Nijmegen, Tiel, Zaltbommel and Gorinchem are towns of importance with direct access to the river. The river, which is the main channel in the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta system, carries 65% of the total flow of the Rhine.

Rhenen is a railway station located in Rhenen, Netherlands. The station was opened on 18 February 1886 and is located on the Kesteren–Amersfoort railway (Maarn - Rhenen). The services are currently operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The station closed on 17 September 1944 and reopened on 31 May 1981. There is a single terminating platform.
