Anjugramam

Vakaippathi, one among the Panchappathis is a holy site for the People of Ayyavazhi. Vakaippathi is the place situated 4 km northeast to Kanyakumari in the seashore near vattakkotai. This is the place where 700 families from Swamithoppe were sent to Thuvayal Thavasu by Ayya Vaikundar; they were later known as Thuvayal Pantarams. This pathi is not included in Pancha pathis.

Kootapuli is a small coastal village in Radhapuram taluk, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, India. Kootapuli is close to the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant.Kootapuli is 21 km (13 mi) east of Nagercoil, 98 km (61 mi) east of Trivandrum, 8 km (5.0 mi) east of Kanyakumari, 30 km (19 mi) southeast of Valliyoor, 10 km (6.2 mi) west of Kudankulam, 4 km (2.5 mi) east of Anjugramam and 90 km (56 mi) southeast of Tirunelveli. In 2013, some residents of Kootapuli were involved in protests against the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant. In 2018, some residents were involved the Thoothukudi violence, a series of protests that ended with police firing on civilians.

Azhagappapuram is a panchayat town in Kanyakumari district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located about five miles northwest of Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India. It is one of the beautiful and model towns in the Kanyakumari district. It falls under the Agastheeswaram taluk of Tamil Nadu. Chettikulam is a small coastal village in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, India.It is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Kanyakumari on the east coastal road connecting Kanyakumari with Thiruchendur. The nearest town is Nagercoil. The Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project has built a large township known as Anuvijay Township for its employees near the village. The village has a telephone exchange, bank (SBI Pandian Grama Bank), post office and four schools. Including the township, the population is nearly 28,000. Chettikulam has beach and pond. There is a family park in the beach, which used to be covered with coconut trees. The sea shore is the longest in Tirunelveli district. It is almost 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) long. During festival times peoples from chettikulam as well as tourists gather here. The village is surrounded by agricultural lands.

Muhilankudieruppu is a village located in Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. Kinnikannanvilai is a village on the west coast of Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India, flanked by Muhilankudieruppu in the south and Kovilvilai in the north. Kottaram is a village located in Kanyakumari district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Kottaram the word origin from Malayalam meaning Palace. So Kottaram means not only a village but also a Palace because 18th & the beginning of the 19th century Kottaram village was ruled by Travancore Maharajas and they have constructed Guest Houses for them. In 1947 August 15 India got independence from British and Sri Vallabhai Pattel initiated to divided India as States and the states divided into Districts according to the regional language and the present Kottaram village became part of Tamil Nadu by 1 November 1956. This village used to be a resting place for the Travancore Maharajas. This landmark, called the Chathiram (Free lodge), is occupied by businesses now. A government hospital, Sub-Register office, and Post Office are the main landmarks in the junction. There is also the small Ram temple that was built at Nandavanam (Garden of flowers). There are several temples and churches in Kottaram. People from surrounding villages flock to Kottaram. It is very close to Kanyakumari, Vattakottai, and Marunthuvazh Malai. The Government fruit farm and a bi-weekly farmers market (Thali Aruthaan Chanthai) are also present nearby.

Agastheeswaram Agastheeswarar Temple (அகத்தீச்சுரம் அகத்தீசுவரர் கோயில்) is a Hindu temple located at Vadugan Patru in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva. He is called as Agastheeswarar. His consort is known as Amuthavalli.

Agasteeswaram taluk is a taluk located in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Nagercoil. The taluk was among several in Thiruvananthapuram district that with the passage of the States Reorganisation Act of 1956 were transferred from Thiruvananthapuram district, Travancore-Cochin State to the newly created Kanyakumari district of Madras State (the latter later renamed as Tamil Nadu State).
