Maura Murray (born May 4, 1982) is an American woman who disappeared on the evening of February 9, 2004, after a car crash on Route 112 near Woodsville, New Hampshire, a village in the town of Haverhill. Her whereabouts remain unknown. She was a 21-year-old nursing student completing her junior year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst at the time of her disappearance.

The Swiftwater Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge which carries Porter Road over the Wild Ammonoosuc River in Bath, New Hampshire. Built in 1849, it is one of New Hampshire's few surviving 19th-century covered bridges, and a well-preserved example of the Paddleford truss design. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Oliverian School is an independent alternative boarding school in the Pike section of the town of Haverhill, New Hampshire, United States, serving students from 9th to 12th grade and founded in 2003 by Barclay Mackinnon. Oliverian is a small school designed for students who have had difficulty with education in more traditional settings. The school is coeducational, with approximately 36 students roughly equally split between boys and girls who are housed in single-sex converted-farmhouse dormitories located on the main and east areas of the campus. Each dorm residence is supervised by a designated dormitory parent. Oliverian is inclusive to LGBTQIA+ students and faculty and permits transgender students to live in their preferred dormitory. The campus is on the western edge of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and is part of a 2,000-acre (810 ha) recreational preserve, providing access to outdoor sports and cultural resources. The academic curriculum is supported by the three pillar areas of learning: adventure, arts, and stewardship. With an average class size of about five students, Oliverian maintains a 1.3-to-1 ratio between students and faculty. Over 90% of graduates matriculate directly to college or university. The school is a member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), and the Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE). Dean Memorial Airport is a public use airport in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. It is owned by the town of Haverhill and is located three nautical miles (5.56 km) northeast of the central business district. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a basic general aviation facility.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned 5B9 by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

The Daniel Carr House is a historic house on Brier Hill Road in Haverhill, New Hampshire. Built about 1796, the house is most notable for the high quality folk murals drawn on its walls, most likely by the itinerant artist Rufus Porter between 1825 and 1830. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Pike is a small unincorporated community within the town of Haverhill, New Hampshire, United States. It is located in western Grafton County, approximately 3 miles (5 km) east of the village of Haverhill, on Oliverian Brook. The village was named after Alonzo Pike, who produced sharpening stones and tool and cutter grinders from a local deposit of Bethlehem gneiss. New Hampshire Route 25 runs through the community, heading west to the nearby Connecticut River valley and east through Oliverian Notch to the southern foothills of the White Mountains. The Wild Ammonoosuc River is a tributary of the Ammonoosuc River, about 15 miles (24 km) long, in northwestern New Hampshire in the United States. Via the Ammonoosuc River, it is part of the watershed of the Connecticut River, which flows to Long Island Sound. The Wild Ammonoosuc flows for its entire length in Grafton County. It rises in the White Mountains at Kinsman Notch in the town of Woodstock and flows generally northwestwardly through the towns of Easton and Landaff to Bath, where it joins the Ammonoosuc. New Hampshire Route 112 follows the river for its entire length.

North Haverhill is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Haverhill, New Hampshire, United States. It is one of several villages in the town of Haverhill. As of the 2020 census, North Haverhill had a population of 843. The village is centered on the junction of New Hampshire Routes 10 and 116, on a bluff overlooking the Connecticut River, the western boundary of New Hampshire. It is situated in the middle of a fertile agricultural area at the western base of the White Mountains. Route 10, following the Connecticut River, connects the village of Woodsville to the north with the towns of Piermont, Orford, Lyme, and Hanover to the south. Route 116 heads east into the White Mountains, leading to the towns of Benton, Easton, and Franconia. In 1972 the county courthouse and related offices moved from Woodsville into a new office complex on Route 10, just north of the North Haverhill village center. North Haverhill has a separate ZIP code (03774) from other areas in the town of Haverhill.

The Bath Covered Bridge is a historic covered bridge over the Ammonoosuc River off US 302 and NH 10 in Bath, New Hampshire. Built in 1832, it is one of the state's oldest surviving covered bridges. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, and underwent a major rehabilitation in the 2010s.
