Little Lehigh Creek

Jordan Creek (Pennsylvania Dutch: Hollenbach) is a 34.1-mile-long (54.9 km) tributary of Little Lehigh Creek in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.Jordan Creek arises from a natural spring on Blue Mountain. The spring is located downhill from the Bake Oven Knob shelter on the Appalachian Trail in Heidelberg Township in Lehigh County. The water course then flows intermittently downhill past Mountain Road, carrying further south through Heidelberg Township and passing through the Trexler Nature Preserve in Schnecksville. Jordan Creek joins Little Lehigh Creek in Allentown before soon flowing into the Lehigh River. It drains an area of 75.8 square miles (196 km2).Along with Bethlehem, Egypt, and Emmaus, Jordan Creek is one several Lehigh Valley locations whose name was inspired by locations referenced in the Bible.

Salisbury High School is a public high school located in Salisbury Township, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is the only high school within the Salisbury Township School District. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 524 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data.

Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center, widely known as Parkettes, is a gymnastics club located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It has produced several teams and individual gymnasts representing the United States, the Czech Republic, and Canada in international meets, including the Olympic Games.

The Hotel Sterling is an historic hotel, which is located in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Built between 1889 and 1890, it is a three-story rectangular brick building that was designed in the Romanesque Revival style with Queen Anne and Eastlake influences.

Gauff-Roth House is a historic home located at 427 to 443 Auburn Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The house features a wraparound porch, third floor balcony, a polygonal turret, and a hipped roof with multiple gables and dormers.

Trout Hall is an historic home located at Allentown in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. One of the older homes in Allentown (1910 Walnut Street is the oldest), it was built between 1768 and 1770, and is a two-and-one-half-story, built with stone in Georgian architectural style. Built as a summer home by James Allen, the third son of William Allen, founder of Allentown, it currently houses the library and museum of the Lehigh County Historical Society.

Roberto Clemente Charter School is a small, urban, public charter school located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. The school is located at 4th and Walnut Streets in Allentown. It serves students in grades 6 through 12. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 628 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. Approximately 94% of the students then enrolled at Roberto Clemente Charter School were Hispanic. In 2011, Roberto Clemente Charter School applied to the Allentown School Board to broaden its program to include kindergarten through 5th grades. The application was denied by the Allentown School Board 5 against-4 vote. The Charter School's board appealed to the Pennsylvania Charter School Appeal Board, which in August 2013 reversed the Allentown School Board's denial decision, allowing the expansion of the charter school. In March 2014, Roberto Clemente Charter School reached an agreement to purchase a school building on Cedar Street in Allentown. Roberto Clemente Charter School is named for Roberto Clemente, a 12-time Gold Glove Award winner with the Pittsburgh Pirates whose Major League Baseball career was cut short by his 1972 death in a plane crash. Roberto Clemente Charter School is one of four public charter schools operating in Lehigh County in 2013. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, in 2012, there were 50,605 children in Lehigh County who were enrolled in public charter schools.

The Neuweiler Brewery, also known as the Germania Brewery, is an historic brewery complex located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Built between 1911 and 1913, the complex consists of the office building, brew house, stock house, pump house, wash house, chemistry lab building, boiler room, bottling house, garage, fermenting cellar, and smokestack with the name "Neuweiler" on it. The office building is a two-story, brick and granite building. The remaining buildings in the complex are built of brick. The brew house stands six-stories, and has a copper hipped roof with cupola. The stock house is a long, narrow four-story building. The brewery closed in 1968.

The Allentown School District is a large, urban public school district located in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. The district is the fourth-largest school district in Pennsylvania as of the 2016-17 school year.The school district includes two large urban public high schools, Allen High School and Dieruff High School, each based in Allentown, for ninth through 12th grades. As of the 2022-23 school year, 15,999 students attend its 22 schools, according to data released by the National Center for Education Statistics. The school district encompasses approximately 17 square miles (44 km2). As of the 2020 census, the Allentown School District serves a resident population of 125,845. In 2009, the per capita income was $16,282 and median family income was $37,356 compared to a Pennsylvania median family income of $49,501 and overall U.S. median family income of $49,445 as of the 2010 census.The school district's demographics, as of 2016-17, are 9.9% White, 14.5% Black, 70.9% Hispanic, 1.3% Asian, and 0.2% Native American High school students in Allentown School District may choose to attend Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for vocational training.

Salisbury Township School District is a small, suburban, public school district located in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It serves Salisbury Township. The district encompasses approximately 11 square miles (28 km2). As of the 2022–23 school year, the school district had a total enrollment of 1,490 students between all its four schools, according to National Center for Education Statistics data, which include Salisbury High School for grades nine through 12, Salisbury Middle School for grades five through eight, Arts Academy Charter School for grades five through eight, and Salisbury Elementary School for kindergarten through fourth grade. According to 2000 census data, the school district serves a resident population of 13,498. By 2010, The U.S. Census Bureau reported that Salisbury Township School District's resident population was 13,505 people. In 2009, the district residents’ per capita income was $28,073, while the median family income was $62,534. In the Commonwealth, the median family income was $49,501 and the United States median family income was $49,445, in 2010. By 2013, the median household income in the United States rose to $52,100. The educational attainment levels for the Salisbury Township School District population (25 years old and over) were 91.0% high school graduates and 28.9% college graduates.Salisbury High School students may choose to attend Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for training in the trades. The Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, IU21, provides the district with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty.

The Old Lehigh County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse located at 503 West Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley is an art museum located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1934 by a group organized by Walter Emerson Baum, a Pennsylvania impressionist painter. The museum maintains a collection of over 19,000 works of art and is a major regional art institution. The museum also maintains a library and archives containing over 16,000 titles and 40 current periodicals.
