Lehigh Mountain is a mountain in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The main peak rises to 843 feet (257 m) and is located in Salisbury Township. Lehigh Mountain is located on the right bank of the Lehigh River, and is separated from South Mountain by the headwaters of Trout Creek. It is part of the Reading Prong of the Appalachian Mountains.

Salisbury High School is a public high school located in Salisbury Township, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is the only high school within the Salisbury Township School District. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 524 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data.

Gauff Hill is an unincorporated community in the extreme eastern Salisbury Township in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Lehigh Valley, which has a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. Gauff Hill is located at the head of a valley between arms of South Mountain to the north and south and is separated from the Lehigh River by the former. The East Branch Trout Creek starts just east of the village and flows west to join the South Branch in Allentown to become the Trout Creek, a tributary of the Lehigh River. Gauff Hill is located at the junction of the two roads connecting the south sides of Allentown and Bethlehem, Emaus Avenue and Susquehanna Street. These two roads form a triangle intersection with Seidersville Road and join to become Broadway, which continues via Fountain Hill to Bethlehem. The lines dividing the addresses and telephone exchanges between Allentown and Bethlehem both split the village, which uses area code 610. The Allentown and Bethlehem zip codes serving Gauff Hill are 18103 and 18015, respectively.

Little Lehigh Creek is approximately 24.0 miles (38.6 km) long and is located in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is sometimes referred to as the Little Lehigh River. It is the largest tributary of the Lehigh River. The creek flows in a winding course through the Lehigh Valley. It originates in Longswamp Township in Berks County and flows generally northeast through Lower Macungie Township and Salisbury Township. In the city of Allentown, it receives Jordan Creek, just before flowing into the Lehigh River. The Little Lehigh has 88.8 square miles (230.0 km2) of drainage area in Lehigh County and 18.7 square miles (48.4 km2) of drainage area in Berks County.

Allentown State Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located at 1600 Hanover Avenue in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It served Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and occasionally eastern Schuylkill counties in Pennsylvania. The hospital, which was one of seven psychiatric hospitals in Pennsylvania, was demolished on December 28, 2020.

WDIY (88.1 FM) is a community-run public radio station licensed to Allentown, Pennsylvania with studios in Bethlehem and a transmitter atop South Mountain. A member of NPR, the station serves the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania, as well as parts of western New Jersey. WDIY has an air staff of over 90 volunteers and a professional staff of six employees, including an executive director. The station is licensed to the Lehigh Valley Community Broadcasters Association, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission "is to engage the Lehigh Valley community through a wide-ranging exchange of music, arts, news and culturally diverse information."

WLEV (100.7 FM, "100.7 WLEV") is a commercial radio station licensed to serve Allentown, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by Cumulus Media, Inc, through licensee Radio License Holding CBC LLC, and broadcasts an adult contemporary music radio format. The station covers the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania. The station's antenna is located on the WFMZ-TV broadcast tower on South Mountain south of Allentown.

WBPH-TV (channel 60) is a religious independent television station in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States, serving the Lehigh Valley and the Philadelphia television market. The station is owned by Sonshine Family Television. WBPH-TV's studios are located in Allentown, and its transmitter is located on South Mountain in Salisbury Township.

WFMZ-TV (channel 69) is an independent television station in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. Locally-based Maranatha Broadcasting Company owns both WFMZ-TV and Wilmington, Delaware–licensed MeTV affiliate WDPN-TV. Both stations share studios on East Rock Road on South Mountain in Allentown, where WFMZ-TV's transmitter is located. WFMZ-TV also maintains a secondary studio in the PPL Center sports arena in Center City Allentown and a newsroom on Court Street in Reading.

WLVT-TV (channel 39) is a PBS member television station in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States. Owned by Lehigh Valley Public Media, it is a sister station to Philadelphia-licensed PBS member WPPT (channel 35). WLVT-TV's studios are located in the south side of Bethlehem, and its transmitter is located south of nearby Allentown atop South Mountain.

WPPT (channel 35) is a PBS member television station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It is owned by Lehigh Valley Public Media alongside Allentown-licensed fellow PBS member WLVT-TV (channel 39). As WYBE, the station's transmitter was located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia; in 2018, it entered into a channel sharing agreement with Allentown-based independent station WFMZ-TV (channel 69) and began operating from WFMZ's transmitter on South Mountain near Allentown. WYBE's main channel was previously carried in the New York City television market on the 66.4 digital subchannel of West Milford, New Jersey–licensed MHz WorldView affiliate WNYJ-TV.
