Wazirabad barrage

The Signature Bridge is a cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge which spans the Yamuna river at Tarun Goyat section, connecting Wazirabad to East Delhi. It is India's first asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. The pylon of the Signature bridge is the tallest structure in Delhi and is double the height of Qutub Minar with its 154-metre high viewing box, which acts as selfie points for visitors. It shortens the travel time between north and northeast Delhi.

It is located near University of Delhi and has an area under 2 square kilometers. Its population is about 10,000. Timarpur is the first government colony situated by the Government of India and is predominantly a government residential area. The area includes eight schools, including six senior secondary schools, one primary school, and one special school for intellectually disabled children. The health services in Timarpur include the INMAS health center, which is the biggest thyroid center in India. A government-owned CGHS dispensary is also present in the area. Timarpur is well connected to the Delhi Tilak Basumatary service. The area also includes a DRDO complex consisting of both residential and official areas. In Timarpur there is a local dairy village of Gurjar of Mandaar clan since 1911. In the village there around 60-70 families and 180-220 houses in the village.

Mukherjee Nagar, Popularly Known for SSC CGL Preparation, is a place in northern Delhi. It is located near GTB Nagar metro station of Yellow line. It is also known as Kingsway Camp. The place is a prominent commercial location for hundreds of private institutions that provide coaching for UPSC and SSC entrance exams. Bhajanpura is a residential area in the North East District of Delhi, India, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from Shahdara and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from old Delhi railway station. It is a highly populated portion of the Trans Yamuna area. Bhajanpura is around 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from North campus and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Shastri Park Metro Station (The First Depot of Delhi Metro). The are is currently used for commercial activities and is very well suited for residential purposes. There are few major attractions in Bhajanpura, but there is built out infrastructure. Transportation hubs include the nearby interstate bus terminal, railway station (Anand Vihar). This areas proximity to New Delhi and Old Delhi means there is a plethora of educational institutions like Lal Bahadur Shastri college which affiliated with Delhi University. Also, nearby is the Northern India Engineering college affiliated with I.P. University which also 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Bhajanpura. Additional infrastructure is being built in the area such as the Sonia Vihar power plant. The main landmark of Bhajanpura is Bhajanpura Chowk, which is very busy all time. There are various blocks in Bhajanpura such as A, B, C, D etc. and every street is given a number. Unlike its neighborhood Yamuna VIhar, Bhajanpura is not well planned with no parks at all making it a congested place. Interesting fact is that C block of Bhajanpura is actually Block A of Yamuna Vihar (as per the locals).

The Vishwa Vidyalaya metro station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro, which services the University of Delhi North campus area and the Delhi University Stadium. It is also the alternate northern terminus for the yellow line along with Kashmere Gate. It is connected to the at-grade Khyber Pass Depot.

The Vidhan Sabha metro station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. It services the area around Delhi Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha), and Majnu Ka Tilla, which is 1.5 km away.
