Nava, Asturias

Priandi is one of six parishes (administrative divisions) in Nava, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. In it stands the Iglesia de Santo Tomé (Priandi).

The Cider Museum (Spanish: Museo de la Sidra) is located in the Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias in Nava, Asturias, Spain. Opened in 1996 by Prince Philip, it is a themed museum that showcases Asturian national drink, cider. The museum is a member of the Ethnographic Museums Network of Asturias. Interactive exhibits cover the entire process of cider creation, from growing apples, through pressing, fermenting, bottling, to consumption of this alcoholic beverage. There is an area devoted to sparkling cider. The museum also focuses on issues such as pollination and the development of apple trees. Summer and winter hours vary.

Lieres (or Santa Maria Lieres) is a parish in Siero, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. It encompasses 8.1 km2 (3.1 sq mi) and is situated at an altitude of 242 m (794 ft) above sea level. The population, as of 2006, was 1,542. The postal code is 33580. Its territory includes the Nora River, a tributary of the River Fal-Miravete. Located along the National Highway N-634, Lieres is 8 km (5.0 mi) from the capital of Siero, Pola de Siero, and 5 km (3.1 mi) from the town of Nava, Asturias.The villages within the Lieres parish are split by the N-634 highway. Les Faces, La Pedrera, Solvay, La Fresneda, El Cuitu, El Rebollar, La Cruz, El Acebal (L'Acebal, Espinera), La Cigüeta, El Monte, Los Barracks, The Slash, Campiello (Campiellu, Cotaya), El Pino, La Cabaña, and Faya are on one side, while Quintanal d'Arriba, Quintanal d'Abaxu, The Court, The Ventuca The Moldano, Sacadiella, Sorrobín, La Cuesta, El Recuncu, Piñuli, and Curuxeu the Cubiella are on the other. The Lieres to Novalín rail line was formally opened November 13, 1891. With the later closure of mines, Lieres' small line rail, linking its mine with Reano, fell into disuse. The railroad was renovated in more recent years.

The Church of Santiago (Spanish: Iglesia de Santiago de Sariego or Santiago el mayor) is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Sariego, in the community of Asturias, Spain. Originally built in the 10th century, the church has pre-Romanesque windows reminiscent of those of the Church of San Salvador de Valdediós. (Pre-Romanesque architecture in Asturias is framed between the years 711 and 910, the period of the creation and expansion of the kingdom of Asturias). It was refurbished in the 15th or 16th centuries. The church was burned down during the Spanish Civil War and rebuilt..

Feleches (variant: Thomas Feleches) is a parish (administrative division) in Siero, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. It is situated at 254 m (833 ft) above sea level. The population is 797 (INE 2006). The postal code is 33119.Feleches is divided in two by the national highway N-634. The parish is serviced by the FEVE rail transport system. It is located 7 km (4.3 mi) from the capitol, Pola de Siero. To the east, the River Nora, a tributary of the River Fal-Miravete, separates Feleches from the Lieres parish. Feleches is bounded on the north by Collado, on the south by Trespa, and to the west by Aramil.

Sariego (Asturian: Sariegu) is a municipality in the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. It is bordered on the north by Gijón and Villaviciosa, on the east by Villaviciosa, Nava and Cabranes, on the south by Siero and Nava, and on the west by Siero. The source of the Nora River is within the municipality. The principal holidays are that of Santiago (the weekend before July 25) and San Pedrín de la Cueva (the third Sunday in August). The principal monuments of Sariego are the churches of Santiago el Mayor, San Román, and Santa María de Narzana, all of which are constructed in a Romanesque style. The Palacio de los Vigil Quiñones, erected in the 16th century, is also notable.
