Furulund is a locality situated in Partille Municipality, Västra Götaland County, SwedenFurulund is located on the hill to the south, along the road between the E20 in the suburbs and Riksväg 40 in Landvetter. In the community there is an elementary school Furulund School ("Furan" for grades 1-5 and "Lunden" for grades 6-9), Furulund Church, retirement homes, grocery store (Matöppet), hairdresser, pizzeria and two kiosks. Furulund is surrounded by forests. In west the forest continues about 8 km to Gothenburgs eastern part (over the nature reserves and Knipeflågsbergen Delsjö area). In the east the forest stretches all the way to municipal boundary of Lerum and Härryda. In the south is an area called Åstebo with stables and Partille Hostel, and the lake Kåsjön, with a popular beach for the local population. Almost directly west of Furulunds Centrum lies the lake Prästtjärnen and South East lies the lake Maderna. The buildings in Furulund has grown large over the last 30 years. Since Furulund is located over 100 meters higher than Gothenburg and many days the temperature is around 0, so Furulund usually have more snow, which remains longer than in the valley in Partille.

Jonsered (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈjɔ̌nːsɛrɛd]) is a locality situated in Partille Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 930 inhabitants in 2010.Jonsered is an old, traditional industrial community by the Säve river outside Gothenburg in Sweden. Jonsered's factories were established here in 1834 by the Scotsman William Gibson (1783–1857). One of the first major products was sail canvas. In 1856 the first Swedish state railway was inaugurated between Gothenburg and Jonsered later being built all the way up to Stockholm. Jonsered was dominated by the Gibson family until the 1920s but the company remained the driving force of the community, being the main landowner until the 1970s. By the 1880s the manufacture of wood processing machinery had started, leading towards the products Jonsered manufactures today. In the 1950s Jonsered started production of chainsaws which became a worldwide success and helped the company when the textile industry was shut down in the late 1960s. The manufacturer Jonsered (now a brand of Husqvarna AB) once had plants here but production was closed in 1984 by Electrolux which had bought the company in 1979 and moved its production to Husqvarna. The community changed after the closure of Jonsereds fabriker transforming into a suburb for commuters working in Gothenburg and Partille. Jonsered can be reached with commuter trains through the train station that was opened in 2000.

Jonsered Manor is a 19th-century manor located in Jonsered, Partille kommun, Sweden. The mansion's garden has won the 2015 Elmia Inspira award for 'Sweden's most inspiring park'. Jonsered Manor is now being managed by University of Gothenburg as its cultural and intellectual centre. The centre now hosts events and academic conferences.

Partille Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena that was inaugurated in September 2016. The arena holds 5,500 people during concerts and 4,000 during sporting events. The arena also holds a gym, bowling alley, restaurant and conference rooms.

Partille Municipality (Partille kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in Partille, which constitutes a part of the contiguously built-up Gothenburg urban area. The municipality is by area one of the smallest in Sweden with only 59.35 km². The parish Partille was made a rural municipality, when the first local government acts came into force in 1863. Territorially it has not been affected by the nationwide municipal reforms carried out during the 20th century. It has retained its area, but it has developed into a suburb of Gothenburg.

The Angered Parish (Swedish: Angereds församling) is a parish in the diocese of Gothenburg, Gothenburg Municipality, Västergötland. Angered have 20 633 inhabitants (2011). In Angered there are only about 20 antiquities: some Stone Age settlements and scattered Iron Age tombs, most now removed. The stone church without a tower, probably from the 13th century, was adding a choir and porch to the west in 1791. The wooden barrel vault and the interior has painting decoration from the late 18th century. The sacristy was built in 1929.

On January 1, 2011, Bergsjön and Kortedala became the Eastern District of Gothenburg as part of a larger reorganization of the city of Gothenburg; the number of district councils was halved, to ten. Bergsjön, as part of Eastern District of Gothenburg, is divided into two smaller areas: Western and Eastern Bergsjön. In Eastern Bergsjön construction and development in the area began in 1965, and in Western Bergsjön development started in 1967.According to Göteborgsbladet 2010 (in which data for district councils and areas in Gothenburg are presented, West Bergsjön has 7,239 inhabitants and East Bergsjön has 8,534 residents; Therefore, the district has 15,773 inhabitants. During the 1900s, a number of Sweden's new residents moved into Bergsjön; as of 2011, there are over 140 nationalities represented in the district. 'Bergsjön' literally translates to 'The Mountain Lake' and is named after the lake with the same name south of the district.
