Avižieniai

Klevinė is a village in Avižieniai Eldership, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. It is located just north of Vilnius, on the old road Vilnius–Ukmergė, intergrown with Bendoriai. At the 2021 census, the village had a population of 931, an increase, compared to 2011 census, which recorded 426 inhabitants. That was an increase from the 2001 census which recorded the population of only 14. This means, that in 20 years, the number of population of Klevinė grew 6650% or on average – 333% a year. Klevinė belongs to the suburban belt of Vilnius, which faces unprecedented growth during the last two decades. Rows of semi-detached houses as well as stand-alone houses are being built in the village for newcomer residents from Vilnius.

Bukiškis (or Bukiškės) is a village in Avižieniai Eldership, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2021 census, it had population of 1,154, an increase from 922, recorded by 2011 census and from 822 in 2001, 930 in 1989.

Bendoriai is an old village in Avižieniai Eldership, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. It is located just north of Vilnius, on the old road Vilnius–Ukmergė, intergrown with Klevinė. At the 2021 census, the village had a population of 943, an increase compared to 2011 census, when 764 inhabitants were counted. That was 345% increase compared to 1989 census which recorded the population of 212 inhabitants. The only in Lithuania wooden memorial for Soviet soldiers is situated in Bendoriai. There is a horse farm in the village. Bendoriai belongs to the suburban belt of Vilnius, which faces unprecedented growth during the last 20 years. New houses are being built in the village for newcomer residents from Vilnius. Vilnius city bus number 87 connects the area with the capital city.

Zujūnai is a village in Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania, it is located only about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of Vilnius. According to the 2011 census, it had population of 1,660.

Neris Regional Park was established in 1992 and covers about 10,000 hectares in Lithuania. Its territory lies within the Vilnius district municipality, the Trakai district municipality, and the Elektrėnai municipality. Portions of the park are privately owned. 87% of the territory is covered in forests. The park is divided into zones, including 11 restricted nature reserves and a cultural reserve. The most heavily wooded of Lithuania's regional parks, it includes one of the largest and oldest surviving stands of oak trees in the country.

Buivydiškės Manor is a former residential manor in Buivydiškės, Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. The last users of the main building was Buivydiškės Primary School. Currently the main palace is for sale.

Buivydiškės is a village in Vilnius district municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, it had 1,314 residents. Buivydiškės Manor was first mentioned in 1593. The village has a technical school for agronomy and zootechnics, established in 1961. The school helped the village to grow from 190 residents in 1959 to 1,265 in 1970. Buivydiškės became a suburb of expanding Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. In 1996, part of the settlement was transferred to Vilnius city municipality.

Raišiai is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, it had a population of 11. It is located on the southern coast of Salotė Lake, close to the Girulių Forest, and 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from Pilaitė. In 2021, a treasure was discovered in Raišiai with 40 Grand Duke Jogaila's coins (Denars), some of which had lions while others had horsemen wielding swords or spears, most of the coins were minted in 1377–1386 (prior to the crowning of Jogaila as the Polish King).

Riešė is a village in Vilnius District Municipality, Lithuania. According to the 2021 census, it had population of 1,595, an increase from 2011 census, which recorded 1,234 inhabitants, up from 419 in 1989 or +281% in 32 years. According to the estimates of the Avižieniai Eldership, it had population of 1,707. Riešė together with adjacent villages is one of the fastest growing localities in the vicinity of Vilnius because of suburbanisation. The oldest and the largest (more than 800 horses) horse farm in Lithuania, specializing in breeding and growing Trakehner, Žemaitukas, and other horse breeds, is situated in Riešė. Riešė has a champignon mushroom growing complex, one of the largest in Europe.

M-1 is the first commercial radio station in Lithuania, broadcasting from the capital city of Vilnius. The station was established on 31 December 1989 by Hubertas Grušnys.The first song played on M-1 was "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen. In 2022, radio station had €4.6 million in revenue.
