Bellevue ( BEL-vyoo) is a city in the Eastside region of King County, Washington, United States, located across Lake Washington from Seattle. It is the third-largest city in the Seattle metropolitan area and has variously been characterized as an edge city, a suburb, boomburb, or satellite city. Its population was 122,363 at the 2010 census and 151,854 in the 2020 census. The city's name is derived from the French term belle vue ("beautiful view").Bellevue is home to some of the world's largest technology companies. Prior to 2008, its downtown area underwent rapid change with many high-rise projects being constructed, and was relatively unaffected by the economic downturn. Downtown Bellevue is currently the second-largest city center in Washington state, with 1,300 businesses, 45,000 employees, and 10,200 residents. In a 2018 estimate, the city's median household income was among the top five cities in the state of Washington. In 2008, Bellevue was number one in CNNMoney's list of the best places to live and launch a business, and in 2010 was again ranked as the fourth-best place to live in America. In 2014, Bellevue was ranked as the second-best place to live by USA Today.More than 145 companies have been located in Bellevue; companies currently headquartered there include PACCAR Inc, T-Mobile, and Valve. The technology company Amazon was founded in Bellevue by Jeff Bezos.

Bellevue Transit Center (BTC) is a bus station and future light rail station in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. It is the main transit hub for the Eastside of King County, serving 20 routes from King County Metro and Sound Transit Express. The transit center is the western terminus of the RapidRide B Line, which runs east to Redmond. A Link light rail station will be built to the east of the transit center near the Bellevue City Hall. The station, to be named Bellevue Downtown, will be at the east portal of a tunnel and have two entrances at 110th and 112th avenues.

City Center East, also known as City Center Plaza, is a high-rise office building in Bellevue, Washington, US. The 26-story, 360-foot (110 m) tower was completed in 2009 and is completely leased by Microsoft, whose Bing development team as well as many AI teams are headquartered there. It is located adjacent to the Bellevue Transit Center and its sister building, City Center Bellevue, which was completed in 1986. City Center East was originally owned by Beacon Capital Partners before it was sold to Cole Real Estate Investments for $310 million in 2010. It was sold again to CommonWealth Partners in 2012, for $347.7 million, a 21 percent increase.The building was originally proposed as a 34-story, 450-foot (140 m) office tower prior to its downsizing in 2005.

Meydenbauer Center is a convention center in Bellevue, Washington. It is located adjacent to Bellevue City Hall and Interstate 405. The center opened in 1993. It has a 36,000-square-foot (3,300 m2) exhibition hall, a 12,000-square-foot (1,100 m2) meeting room, a 410-seat performing arts theatre, and 434 parking spaces. In 2009 the center added a 2,500 sqft executive center that includes three meeting rooms. Meydenbauer Center hosts over 300 events each year including conventions, corporate meetings and events, and trade shows. It is owned and operated by Bellevue Convention Center Authority (BCCA). The BCCA Board of Directors are appointed by the Bellevue City Manager and confirmed by the Bellevue City Council.

Bellevue 600 is a future high-rise office building developed by Amazon in Bellevue, Washington, United States. It began construction in 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in 2024. The 43-story, 600-foot-tall (180 m) building would join 555 Tower as the tallest building in Bellevue. The project is located in Downtown Bellevue at the intersection of Northeast 6th Street and 110th Avenue Northeast, adjacent to the Bellevue Transit Center and a future Link light rail station. A second phase would construct a 27-story tower to the west, replacing an existing office building.

Washington Technology University (WTU) is an American private university based in Bellevue, Washington. The school offers a bachelor's degree in information security targeted at local residents wanting to join the Seattle technology industry, and admitted its first class in January 2018. WTU is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institution Act.

City Center Bellevue is a 358-foot (109 m) tall, 27-story high-rise office building in Bellevue, Washington, completed in 1986. It was the tallest building in Bellevue until 2005.City Center Plaza, also in downtown Bellevue, is a separate 26 story building completed a decade later.

The 400 Building, also known as the First Mutual Center and Washington Federal Center, is a seven story tall building in Bellevue, Washington. When it was completed in 1967, it was the tallest building in Bellevue.

Tower 333 is a 20-story high-rise office building in the central business district of Bellevue, Washington, United States. The building housed the corporate office of Expedia, Inc. from 2008 to 2019. Amazon is planned to take over the lease for the entire building in 2020.

East Main station will be an at-grade Sound Transit East Link light rail station in the city of Bellevue, Washington. It is expected to open along with the section of the line to Overlake in 2023.

Bellevue Towers is a high rise condominium complex in downtown Bellevue, Washington. Construction began in 2006 and was completed in 2009. The 42 and 43 story towers have 539 condo units, 17,000 square feet (1,580 m2) of retail space, and eight levels of underground parking. The project is 85% sold as of January 2013. Bellevue Towers stands on a 2.43-acre (9,800 m2) site.Bellevue Towers is the largest Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certified residential development in the Pacific Northwest with its energy-efficient glass facade, low-flow plumbing fixtures, dual-flush toilets, rooftop garden between the towers, and efficient condensing boiler. The $436 million project was developed by Gerding Edlen and built by Hoffman Construction Company. The project was not a financial success: Gerding Edlen could not pay off its loans, and had to turn the project over to their lender in 2011.

Downtown Bellevue is the central business district of Bellevue, Washington, United States. It is bounded by I-405 to the east, NE 12th Street to the north, 100th Ave NE to the west, and Main Street to the south, and covers an area of around 400 acres (160 ha). It is the second largest city center in Washington state, with more than 50,000 employees and 12,000 residents. Geographically centered near the heart of the Puget Sound region, Downtown Bellevue is a regional growth center offering over 9 million square feet (840,000 m2) of Class A office space, various major retail and entertainment locations, more than 2,500 hotel rooms and almost 10,000 housing units.
