World Capital Tower

The 2003 Marriott Hotel bombing occurred on August 5, 2003 in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta, Indonesia. A suicide bomber detonated a car bomb outside the lobby of the JW Marriott Hotel, killing 12 people and injuring 150. Those killed including a white Dutch man while the rest were Indonesian. The hotel was viewed as a Western symbol, and had been used by the United States embassy for various events. The hotel was closed for five weeks and reopened to the public on September 8.

BTPN Towers are a pair of skyscrapers located at Mega Kuningan in Jakarta, Indonesia. They are part of a mixed use development called the Quadrant Complex. There are two buildings: The BTPN Office Tower, also known as Menara BTPN, is 223 meters tall and has 48 floors. It was constructed from 2013 to 2016, and serves as the headquarters for Bank BTPN, now part of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as well as other businesses. The BTPN Hotel Tower has 25 floors and is under construction.

The 2009 Jakarta Bombings were a terrorist attack which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia on 17 July 2009. At around 07:47 until 07:57 WIB (00:47-00:57 UTC), the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, were hit by separate bombings five minutes apart. Nine people were killed, of whom three were Indonesian, three were Australians, two were from The Netherlands, and one was from New Zealand. More than 50 people were injured in the blasts. Both blasts were caused by suicide bombers, who checked into the hotels as paying guests several days earlier. The twin suicide bombings came four years after the previous serious terrorist attack in Indonesia.

The road crosses 4 urban villages and has access point for Mega Kuninngan.

The office building (known as Tokopedia Tower) houses Tokopedia, which is one of Indonesia’s biggest online marketplace. The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Jakarta (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Turki di Jakarta; Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Cakarta Büyükelçiliği) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Turkey to the Indonesia. Turkish Embassy in Jakarta was opened on 10 April 1957. The Turkish Embassy has been serving at its current chancellery in Kuningan, Jakarta since 1983.The Embassy covers whole Indonesia and is also accredited to Timor-Leste since 2003. The Office of the Commercial Counselor was opened in April 2007 in the premises of Turkey Embassy. The Embassy has 21 Turkish and Indonesian personnel.

The tower is built environmentally friendly with features include daylight and motion sensors for the interior lighting, such as in the bathrooms and stairwells. The tower is connected with the hotel building by a multilevel retail podium. There are also 1,350 car-park spaces in the complex.

Trinity Tower is a skyscraper situated at the intersection of H.R. Rasuna Said Road and Jl. Prof. Dr. Satrio Road in Jakarta, Indonesia. The building was known as the Daswin building during its construction period. It was developed by PT Windas Development, which consists of Japan-based real estate giant Mitsubishi Estate, Indonesian manufacturing company and property developer Gesit Group and diversified conglomerate Santini Group. The project was the first opportunity for Mitsubishi Estate to develop an office building in Indonesia.Built with earthquake resistant technology and a green building concept, the tower is constructed on a land area of 1.6 hectares. The tower has three floors of retail, thirteen floors of parking and a basement floor, with total floor area of over 140,000 m2 (1,500,000 sq ft).
