Blackwardine is a village in Herefordshire, England (at grid reference SO529564), in the parish of Ford and Stoke Prior.It is the site of a Romano-British settlement known as Black Caer Dun. A golden bracelet and ring have been found here, as well as many human remains. An 1885 account notes "broken pieces of pottery were thickly scattered about and in one part of the railway cutting near the surface some 40 or 50 yards (46 m) of charred material 18 inches thick were observed." Blackwardine is where Alfred Watkins first developed his theory of Ley lines on 30 June 1921. The place was excavated the same year.

Risbury is a village in the civil parish of Humber in Herefordshire, England, and 4 miles (6 km) south-east of Leominster. There used to be a Methodist chapel, a post office and The Hop Pole public house in the village, but all three are now residential dwellings. At Risbury cross there is a bus shelter, however the accompanying red phone box was decommissioned in 2018 and moved to the village hall opposite to house a defibrillator. Risbury Camp, an Iron Age hill fort, is just outside the village on private farmland, although a public footpath runs nearby. There is a green burial ground, Humber Woodland of Remembrance, outside within the parish.

Docklow and Hampton Wafer (alternatively Docklow and Hampton Wafre), is a civil parish in the county of Herefordshire, England, and is 11 miles (18 km) north from the city and county town of Hereford. The closest large town is Leominster 4 miles (6 km) to the west. The parish contains the remains of Uphampton Camp, a probable Iron Age hillfort, and the Church of St Bartholomew, in part dating to the 12th and 13th century.

The closest large town is the market town of Leominster, adjacent at the north-west. The parish includes the hamlet of Ford, the village of Stoke Prior, and the medieval parish churches of St Luke and St John of Jerusalem. At the west of the parish is the site of a Romano-British settlement.

Leominster was a parliamentary constituency represented until 1707 in the House of Commons of England, then until 1801 in that of Great Britain, and finally until 2010, when it disappeared in boundary changes, in the Parliament of the United Kingdom. From 1295 to 1885, Leominster was a parliamentary borough which until 1868 elected two Members of Parliament by the bloc vote system of election. Under the Reform Act 1867 its representation was reduced to one Member, elected by the first past the post system. The parliamentary borough was abolished under the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, and the name was transferred to a new county constituency.

In a 2007 Ofsted inspection, the Overall effectiveness of the school was rated as Grade 1 (Outstanding).At the Stoke Prior Halt railway station, Stoke Prior was served by the now closed Worcester, Bromyard and Leominster Railway.

Pudleston (or Pudlestone), is a small village and civil parish (alternatively Pudleston-cum-Whyle), in the county of Herefordshire, England, and is 13 miles (20 km) north from the city and county town of Hereford. The closest large town is Leominster 4 miles (6 km) to the west. At Pudleston is the c.1200 Church of St Peter, and the 1846 Tudor-Gothic Pudleston Court.

The River Arrow (Welsh: Afon Arwy) is a river in the Welsh Marches, rising in Powys in Wales, then flowing into the English county of Herefordshire. It rises near Gwaunceste Hill, then flows south-east through Newchuch and Michaelchurch-on-Arrow. It forms a short section of the England/Wales boundary, before flowing into Herefordshire, and through the town of Kington. It proceeds east through Herefordshire, passing Lyonshall, Staunton-on-Arrow, Pembridge, Eardisland, Arrow Green, Monkland, Ivington, Broadward, and has its confluence with the River Lugg south of Leominster, at Stoke Prior. Its tributaries include the Gilwern Brook. Others are the Honey Lake Brook, which passes through Ivington Green and Back Brook which joins the Arrow at The Meetings in Kington.

Kimbolton is a village and parish in Herefordshire, England, around 3 miles (5 km) north east of Leominster and 15 miles (24 km) north of Hereford. The village is on the A4112 road, near its junction with the A49 road. The church is dedicated to St James, has 13th-century features and has two Norman windows in the chancel. The spire is shingled.Bath Camp, a small Iron Age hill fort, lies on a ridge above the Whyte Brook about 1.5 miles (2 km) south east of the church.The parish had a population in mid-2010 of 434, increasing to 472 at the 2011 Census.The village has a pub, The Stockton Cross and a Primary School with a separate Early Years nursery on site. There is also a village hall.Kimbolton Chapel (now Kimbolton St James church) is one of the rumoured burial sites for Owain Glyndwr.
