Hopewell is an unincorporated community in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. It lies at an elevation of 1122 feet (342 m).The community was so named on account of first settlers' optimistic spirit.

Cambridge High School is a public charter high school in Milton, Georgia and a school of the Fulton County School System. The 17th high school to open in the district and relieving Alpharetta High School and Milton High School, it opened in August 2012.Now in the year 2021 Cambridge has expanded to include a wide variety of sports and extracurricular activities which include the football team coached by coach Bennett, who made it to the playoffs in 2021, the Bridge Ensemble, who have won first place in the GHSA One Act Play, and runner up the GHSA One Act State Championship, and the award-winning marching band directed by Daniel Scott which has received numerous awards such as best woodwind section in the 2021 Milton White Columns Invitational.

Saint Francis School is a Private, Independent, not for profit, college preparatory school with no religious affiliation that has been serving students of the Metro Atlanta area since 1976. Saint Francis School is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is a member of Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) and the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS).

Independence High School was an alternative high school in the historic district of Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. It was located on the old Milton High School campus.

Centered today at the crossroads of Georgia Highways 140 and 372 (also known as "the Silos area"), Crabapple, Georgia, is one of the oldest parts of Fulton County, Georgia. Originally part of Cherokee County, Georgia, (created 1832), Crabapple was part of the land contributed in 1857 to form Milton County, Georgia. The first permanent settlement at Crabapple was made in 1874, with the community taking its name from a crabapple tree near the original town site. As a result of the Great Depression, Milton County was later absorbed into Fulton County in 1932. The historic heart of Crabapple is anchored by an historic brick building at the crossroads of Crabapple Road-Mayfield Road, Birmingham Road-Broadwell Road, and Mid-Broadwell Road. In 2006, a portion of Crabapple was one of several communities incorporated into the new city of Milton. Crabapple is now split between the cities of Milton, Roswell, and Alpharetta. Crabapple hosts an antique fair twice yearly (May and October) called the Old Times at Crabapple Antique Festival.

Taste of Alpharetta is a festival/event where over 60 restaurants offer a wide range of foods. Established in 1991, it's located in Alpharetta, Georgia and drew over 60,000 people one year. Restaurants typically sell small "tasting" size portions which are typical of the restaurants' offerings from tables and tents. The event also features games, live concerts, culinary competitions, and art exhibits. In 2010, local chefs created over 200,000 dishes which were served at the festival. According to local and regional media, the Taste of Alpharetta is now one of the most popular and well-attended “taste of” festivals in the South. Many desserts appetizers and entrees are offered during the festival. There are moonwalks, many different performing bands, and many places to sit down and eat. It has been celebrated for two decades of delivering good food. The Taste of Alpharetta is held annually on a Thursday during the month of May.

The Lionheart School is a 501(c)3 non-profit independent school for children ages 5 to 21 with autism or other disorders of relating and communicating. The school was established in 2000 and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. Lionheart was awarded SACS/SAIS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/ Southern Association of Independent Schools) Accreditation in 2008. Lionheart is a member of GISA (Georgia Independent Schools Association). Lionheart currently serves 30 students, and is embarking on a capital campaign in order to move to a larger space and enroll more students. The school was featured in an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on August 17, 2008.

Avalon is a mixed-use development in Alpharetta, Georgia. Phase I of the 86-acre (35 ha) site includes 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) of retail space, a 12-screen Regal Cinemas theater, 105,000 square foot of Class A office space over retail, 101 single-family residences and 250 luxury rental homes. Phase II, with additional business and residential space, opened in April 2017.
