Avalon is a mixed-use development in Alpharetta, Georgia. Phase I of the 86-acre (35 ha) site includes 500,000 square feet (46,000 m2) of retail space, a 12-screen Regal Cinemas theater, 105,000 square foot of Class A office space over retail, 101 single-family residences and 250 luxury rental homes. Phase II, with additional business and residential space, opened in April 2017.

Taste of Alpharetta is a festival/event where over 60 restaurants offer a wide range of foods. Established in 1991, it's located in Alpharetta, Georgia and drew over 60,000 people one year. Restaurants typically sell small "tasting" size portions which are typical of the restaurants' offerings from tables and tents. The event also features games, live concerts, culinary competitions, and art exhibits. In 2010, local chefs created over 200,000 dishes which were served at the festival. According to local and regional media, the Taste of Alpharetta is now one of the most popular and well-attended “taste of” festivals in the South. Many desserts appetizers and entrees are offered during the festival. There are moonwalks, many different performing bands, and many places to sit down and eat. It has been celebrated for two decades of delivering good food. The Taste of Alpharetta is held annually on a Thursday during the month of May.

Independence High School was an alternative high school in the historic district of Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. It was located on the old Milton High School campus.

The Lionheart School is a 501(c)3 non-profit independent school for children ages 5 to 21 with autism or other disorders of relating and communicating. The school was established in 2000 and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. Lionheart was awarded SACS/SAIS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/ Southern Association of Independent Schools) Accreditation in 2008. Lionheart is a member of GISA (Georgia Independent Schools Association). Lionheart currently serves 30 students, and is embarking on a capital campaign in order to move to a larger space and enroll more students. The school was featured in an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on August 17, 2008.

Alpharetta High School is a public high school located in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States within the Fulton County School System. Atlanta Magazine named Alpharetta High School one of the metro Atlanta area's best all-around high schools. In 2020, the U.S. News & World Report ranked the school #7 in Georgia and #281 nationally.

North Point Community Church is a non-denominational, evangelical megachurch located in Alpharetta, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. North Point currently averages more than 38,589 people in attendance across eight locations in the north metro Atlanta area. The senior pastor Andy Stanley serves as the church's lead pastor and, in turn, leads the North Point Community Church staff.

North Point Mall is a shopping mall, located in Alpharetta, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta). The mall opened on October 20, 1993 as one of the largest shopping malls in the country. The mall was the second final property built by Homart Development Company. As of 2018, North Point Mall is one of Atlanta's most popular malls. The mall's anchor stores are Dillard's, JCPenney, Macy's, and Von Maur.

The Ameris Bank Amphitheatre (formerly Verizon Amphitheatre) is a contemporary amphitheatre, located in the northern Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. The amphitheatre mainly hosts shows by popular music artists, comedians and themed symphony concerts by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the latter opened the venue with a performance on May 10, 2008. The venue opened as Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in 2008. In January 2017, it became known as Verizon Amphitheatre. In December 2018, the venue’s naming rights were purchased by Ameris Bank.

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital (formerly North Fulton Medical Center and North Fulton Regional Hospital) is a major hospital located in Roswell, the ninth-largest city in Georgia. The hospital serves most of north Fulton County, Georgia, as well as neighboring Cherokee, Cobb, Forsyth and Gwinnett counties. Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is the third largest employer in the city of Roswell and is considered the epicenter of the city's growing healthcare industry.Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is a Level II trauma center, a Level II emergency cardiac care center, and a Joint Commission primary stroke center. Additionally, the hospital is fully accredited and recognized by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer as an Accredited Cancer Program.

Cambridge High School is a public charter high school in Milton, Georgia and a school of the Fulton County School System. The 17th high school to open in the district and relieving Alpharetta High School and Milton High School, it opened in August 2012.Now in the year 2021 Cambridge has expanded to include a wide variety of sports and extracurricular activities which include the football team coached by coach Bennett, who made it to the playoffs in 2021, the Bridge Ensemble, who have won first place in the GHSA One Act Play, and runner up the GHSA One Act State Championship, and the award-winning marching band directed by Daniel Scott which has received numerous awards such as best woodwind section in the 2021 Milton White Columns Invitational.
