St. Albans Farms Stone Barn, also known as the Stone Dairy Barn, is a historic barn located at St. Albans, Franklin County, Missouri. It was built about 1918, and is a large U-shaped one-story frame building with limestone-faced walls and a steep gable roof. It features round corner towers that are topped with conical roofs. Associated with the barn are a large round tile silo off of each back corner.: 6  Much of the barn has been demolished. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

St. Albans General Store, also known as Head's Store, is a historic commercial building located at St. Albans, Franklin County, Missouri. It was built in 1892, and is a two-story frame building with a large one-story ell. It features a one-story, wrap-around porch. The main block has a steeply-pitched truncated hip roof. Also on the property is a contributing blacksmith shop constructed in the 1920s. It is a significant example of a rural general store and residence.: 5, 12 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

St. Albans is an unincorporated community in northeastern Franklin County, Missouri, United States. It lies approximately five miles northeast of Labadie and about seven miles west of Wildwood. St. Albans is above the Missouri River floodplain. The town borders a small section of St. Charles County which, unlike the rest of the county, lies on the south side of the Missouri River.St. Albans was founded in 1837. It was named after St Albans, England.The St. Albans General Store and St. Albans Farms Stone Barn are on the National Register of Historic Places, as is Tavern Cave. The Lewis and Clark Expedition visited that cave and Meriwether Lewis nearly lost his life when slipping down the bluffs here. The expedition journals mention a whirlpool in the river, the Devil's Raceground, which is now dry land, due to a change in the course of the river: it is the portion of St. Charles County anomalously on the south side of the river. St. Albans was home to The Fulton School at St. Albans, an independent, not-for-profit, private Montessori school serving students from 18 months of age through 12th grade.

Engelmann Woods Natural Area consists of 149 acres (0.60 km2) in northeastern Franklin County, Missouri. It is located southwest of the town of St. Albans on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River. Engelmann Woods preserves one of the last old growth forests in Missouri. Some of the trees in the area are approximately 3 feet (0.91 m) in diameter, 100 feet (30 m) tall, and 200 years old. In 1942, private landowners, primarily Mrs. Oscar Johnson, donated the land to the Missouri Botanical Garden. The Missouri Department of Conservation acquired the area in the 1980s, and it was designated a natural area in 1983.There is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) hiking trail in the area, and hunting and fishing are not permitted in the area.

Fiddle Creek is a stream in northeast Franklin County in east central Missouri.The stream headwaters are located adjacent to Missouri Route 100 approximately one mile northeast of Gray Summit at 38°30′19″N 90°48′21″W and the confluence with the Missouri River is at 38°35′58″N 90°45′45″W. The stream enters the Missouri River floodplain after crossing under Missouri Route T at Oetters and then runs along the south margin of the floodplain past St Albans to enter the Missouri River approximately 1.5 miles northeast of St Albans.Fiddle Creek got its name because fiddling was a popular pastime among early settlers near the creek.

Oetters is an unincorporated community in Franklin County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community sits above the Missouri River floodplain along Missouri Route T. Fiddle Creek passes adjacent to the community as it enters the Missouri River floodplain.The community most likely has the name of Henry Oeters, original owner of the site.

Rockwoods Range Conservation Area consists of 1,388 acres (5.62 km2) in western St. Louis County, Missouri. It is just north of Interstate 44 west of Eureka. The land is part of the Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor.Most of the land was donated to the Missouri Department of Conservation in 1943 by A.P. Greensfelder to preserve it in public ownership. A memorial in the conservation area denotes the location of Greensfelder's large summer cottage. Limestone rock outcroppings and sinkholes are common in the area, and it has been designated as an Important Bird Area by the Missouri Audubon Society. The area supports good populations of white-tailed deer, raccoons, and squirrels.Young Conservation Area is open daily from sunrise to one half-hour after sunset. Activities include hiking, wildlife watching, mountain biking, horseback riding, and hunting (in season). Nearby Missouri Department of Conservation areas include Rockwoods Reservation, Young, Forest 44, Pacific Palisades, Allenton Access, and August A. Busch. Greensfelder County Park abuts Rockwoods Range on the east.There are four trails in the area. The Green Rock Trail is for hiking only, but the other three are multi-use. Round House Loop Trail - 3.0 miles (4.8 km) Fox Creek Spur Trail - 0.6 miles (0.97 km) Fox Run Trail - 3.5 miles (5.6 km) Green Rock Trail - 2.9 miles (4.7 km) out of 14.5 miles (23.3 km) total length

Babler State Park (formally, Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park) is a state-managed public recreation area located in the northwest section of the city of Wildwood, Missouri. A large bronze statue of Dr. Babler greets park visitors. The state park's 2,441 acres (988 ha) offer opportunities for hiking, picnicking, bicycling, horseback riding, and camping. The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Wildwood is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. It is located in the far western portion of the county. As of the 2020 census, the population was 35,417. Wildwood is the home of the Al Foster Trail, and numerous other trails, parks, and reserves such as Rockwoods Reservation and Babler State Park.

Matson is an unincorporated community in southern St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately three miles south of Defiance on Route 94 and is near the Missouri River.

Greensfelder County Park consists of 1,734 acres (7.02 km2) in western St. Louis County, Missouri. It is located in the city of Wildwood and bordered to the south by the Eureka and Six Flags St. Louis. Greensfelder is part of the Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor. The park's land was donated to St. Louis County in 1963 by the trustees of the St. Louis Regional Planning and Construction Foundation, which had been established in 1939 by Albert P. Greensfelder. The park was originally named Rockwood Park, but was renamed in 1965 in honor of A.P. Greensfelder.The park has a nature center, playgrounds pavilions, scenic loop road, stables, a campsite, and eight trails open to hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The park's trails connect to the Rockwoods Reservation to the northeast and the Rockwoods Range Conservation Area to the west, forming a network of 25 miles (40 km) of trails.
