Northwood Lake

Pleasant Lake is a 479-acre (1.94 km2) lake located in Rockingham County in central New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Deerfield. The eastern shore of the lake forms the boundary between Deerfield and the town of Northwood. Water from Pleasant Lake flows north to Northwood Lake, then west via the Little Suncook River to the Suncook River, a tributary of the Merrimack River. The lake is classified as a cold- and warmwater fishery, with observed species including brown trout, rainbow trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, and white perch.

Jenness Pond is a 267-acre (108 ha) water body located primarily in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Northwood. A small portion of the pond at its northwest end lies in Pittsfield in Merrimack County. The pond's outlet, Jenness Brook (called Narrows Brook farther downstream), is a feeder of Northwood Lake, part of the Suncook River / Merrimack River / Gulf of Maine watershed. The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery and contains largemouth and smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, and horned pout.

The Northwood Congregational Church is a historic church at 881 1st New Hampshire Turnpike (US 4) in Northwood, New Hampshire. The Greek Revival wood-frame building was built in 1840, and is one of the finest and least-altered Greek Revival churches in the state. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The congregation is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.

Northwood Meadows State Park is a 674.5-acre (273.0 ha) state park in the town of Northwood, New Hampshire. Activities include nature walks, hiking, picnicking, fishing, non-motorized boating, biking, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.The wooded park has a vast wetlands area that includes a pond created by a dammed brook. A universally-accessible graveled trail leads to the pond, known as Burtt Wildlife Pond, after M. Edward Burtt, who built the park's boulder-fringed roads and dam. The state purchased the land in 1990, which abuts the Forest Peters Wildlife Management Area.

The Charles S. Hall House is a historic house at 1740 Dover Road (United States Route 4) in Epsom, New Hampshire. Built c. 1890, it is the only Second Empire building in the town, adorned further with Queen Anne features. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The Deerfield Center Historic District encompasses the heart of the rural New Hampshire town of Deerfield. It extends northwest along Church Street (formerly Old Center Road South) from its junction with North Road, Candia Road, and Raymond Road. It includes many of the town's municipal buildings, as well as a church and private residences, most of which were built before about 1920. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The lake is classified as a cold- and warmwater fishery, with observed species including rainbow trout, brown trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, horned pout, and white perch.Every year there are fireworks of Strafford and Northwood over Bow Lake, and it is a popular place to swim, boat and fish for those who live in the towns around it.

The Little Suncook River is a 4.0-mile-long (6.4 km) river in central New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Suncook River, part of the Merrimack River (and therefore Gulf of Maine) watershed. The Little Suncook begins at the outlet of Northwood Lake in the town of Epsom. Flowing west, it passes through Bixby Pond (also known as Cass Pond), passes the villages of Epsom and Gossville, and joins the Suncook River near the Epsom Traffic Circle. U.S. Route 4 parallels the Little Suncook for the river's entire length.
