Clayhall

Caterham High School is a mixed, comprehensive 11-18 school in Clayhall, London. There are 1100 students in the school. The school is supported by the Arts Council. It had a newly built school building in 2006 at a cost of £1.4 million. The school has many sports facilities available from football, netball and basketball courts to gyms, netball and badminton courts and lastly a huge swimming pool used by all students. British racing driver Scott Malvern was a pupil at Caterham High School during 2000–2006.

Grandma's House is a sitcom television series broadcast on BBC Two. Written by Simon Amstell and long-term collaborator Dan Swimer, the series stars Simon Amstell playing a version of himself: an ex-television presenter searching for meaning in his life. Each episode takes place at his grandmother's house, where Grandma (Linda Bassett) welcomes her family, desperate to see everyone happy. The first series was shown in 2010, the second in 2012. In December 2012 Amstell stated that there would not be a third series.

St Cedd's Church, Barkingside (also St Cedd's Church, Ilford and St Cedd's Church, Marston Road) is a Church of England parish church in the Barkingside district of Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge, dedicated to Cedd, bishop of Essex, in which Ilford historically fell. In 1938 a temporary church was built and a conventional district set up using parts of the parishes of Holy Trinity, Barkingside and Holy Trinity, South Woodford.

Beal High School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Redbridge, Greater London, England. The school begins at Year 7 and continues with compulsory schooling through Year 11. Years 12 and 13 form the optional sixth form. In 2014, a business hub and media block were added. The school also has a Communications and Learning Department (CLD Unit) for students on the autistic spectrum. Beal High School is also the sponsor of The Forest Academy (formerly Hainault Forest High School), and the Beacon Business Innovation Hub (BBIH). These schools, alongside the autistic provision form the Beacon Multi Academy Trust.

Ilford Animal Cemetery is an animal cemetery in Ilford in London, England, United Kingdom that contains over three thousand burials. It was founded in the 1920s and is operated by the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals. The cemetery was closed to new burials in the 1960s and gradually became neglected and overgrown before a £50,000 grant from the National Lottery led to its reopening.

Claybury Hospital was a psychiatric hospital in Woodford Bridge, London. It was built to a design by the English architect George Thomas Hine who was a prolific Victorian architect of hospital buildings. It was opened in 1893 making it the Fifth Middlesex County Asylum. Historic England identified the hospital as being "the most important asylum built in England after 1875". Since the closure of the hospital, the site was redeveloped as housing and a gymnasium under the name Repton Park. The hospital block, tower, and chapel, which is now a swimming complex, were designated as a Grade II listed building in 1990.

Gants Hill is a London Underground station in the largely residential Gants Hill district of Ilford in East London. It is served by the Central line and is between Redbridge and Newbury Park stations on the Hainault loop. It is in Travelcard Zone 4. It is the easternmost station to be below ground on the London Underground network and the busiest on the Hainault loop.The station ticket hall is located beneath Gants Hill roundabout and reached via pedestrian subways. It opened on 14 December 1947 as an extension of the Central line to form the new part of the Hainault loop. The station is known for its distinctive architecture featuring barrel-vaulted halls at platform level designed by Charles Holden.

St Paul's Church, Woodford Bridge, is Church of England church in Woodford Bridge in east London. Population expansion in the area had led the ancient parish church of St Mary's Church, Woodford to rent an infant school for services in 1851. A permanent church was built in 1854 as a district chapelry. It suffered a fire in 1886, after which it was rebuilt in a Neo-Gothic version of the Decorated style.

Woodford Bridge is part of the East London suburb of Woodford, in the London Borough of Redbridge. It is located on an old road between Chigwell and Leytonstone.

Ilford County High School (often abbreviated to ICHS) is a selective secondary grammar school for boys located in the town of Barkingside of the London Borough of Redbridge. The school was formerly called Park High Grade School and as a result old boys are referred to as Old Parkonians. ICHS is a six-form entry school, each form comprising up to 30 pupils. Originally one of a number of selective schools in the London Borough of Redbridge, ICHS was retained in 1973 as the only boys’ selective school in the borough. Admission at 11+ takes place through tests administered by the borough as local education authority. There is also opportunity for admission at 16+, directly into the sixth form, but the majority of places each year are taken up by existing students of the lower school.

Redbridge is an area of Ilford in East London, England. It gives its name to the London Borough of Redbridge, a local government district of Greater London, with which it should not be confused.

Frenford Football Club is a football club based in Ilford, London, England. Based at the Jack Carter Centre, they are currently members of the Essex Senior League.
