Kostrzyn railway station

The Kostrzyn–Słubice Special Economic Zone is in the centre of Europe, in western Poland, along the Polish–German border. The zone's grounds are located in three western Polish provinces: Lubuskie, Zachodniopomorskie and Wielkopolskie, from Karlino, Goleniów and Police in the North, to Lubsko and Bytom Odrzański in the South. It uses the economic and touristic potential of almost the whole west of Poland. Within the zone one can find the biggest cities, industrial and commercial centres of the region: Poznań, Szczecin, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Zielona Góra. Created in 1997, the Kostrzyn–Słubice SEZ is one of the fastest developing special economic zone in Poland, because of its high rate of tax exemption, nowadays one of the highest in Poland, and its greenfields.

Kostrzyn nad Odrą (literally Kostrzyn upon Oder; Polish pronunciation: [ˈkɔst.ʂɨn ˌnad ˈɔdrɔ̃]; German: Küstrin [kʏsˈtʁiːn]) is a town in Gorzów County, Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland, on the border with Germany.

Chyrzyno [xɨˈʐɨnɔ] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Górzyca, within Słubice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Górzyca, 25 km (16 mi) north of Słubice, and 45 km (28 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

Pol'and'Rock Festival, formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland, (Polish: Przystanek Woodstock; "Woodstock Station"; English-language materials often referred to it simply to the Woodstock Festival Poland) is an annual free rock music festival in Poland, inspired by the Woodstock festival. The festival has been held since 1995. In 2009 Woodstock Festival Poland gathered an audience of over 400,000 people, in 2011 the attendance was above 700,000, in 2012 about 550,000 people, in 2013 about 500,000 and in 2014 the attendance reached a record high of about 750,000. As of 2019, the aggregate attendance of the festival is 750,000 making it one of the biggest music festivals in the world.

Drzewice is the north-western borough (osiedle) of the town of Kostrzyn nad Odrą in western Poland. During World War II, the Stalag III-C German prisoner-of-war camp for Polish, French, British, Serbian, Belgian, Italian, American and Soviet prisoners of war was located there.

The river Warta ( VAR-tə, Polish: [ˈvarta] ; German: Warthe [ˈvaʁtə] ; Latin: Varta) rises in central Poland and meanders greatly north-west to flow into the Oder, at the German border. About 808.2 kilometres (502.2 mi) long, it is Poland's second-longest river within its borders after the Vistula, and third-longest including the Oder, that flows also across Czech Republic and Germany. Its drainage basin covers 54,529 square kilometers (21,054 sq mi) and it is navigable from Kostrzyn nad Odrą to Konin, approximately half of its length. It is connected to the Vistula by the Noteć and the Bydgoszcz Canal (Kanał Bydgoski) near the city of Bydgoszcz.

Küstrin-Kietz is a small village located in the German state of Brandenburg, at the Oder river and the border with Poland. Since 1998 it has been part of the Küstriner Vorland municipality.

Küstrin-Kietz station is a railway station in the municipality of Küstrin-Kietz in the Märkisch-Oderland district of Brandenburg, Germany. It is served by trains operated by the privately owned Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn between Berlin-Ostkreuz and Kostrzyn nad Odrą (Poland), via Müncheberg (Mark) and Werbig (line RB 26, the Oderlandbahn).
