North Kansas City is a city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. It is also enclaved in Kansas City. Even though the name is similar to its larger counterpart, Kansas City, it is an independent municipality part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The population was 4,467 at the 2020 census. Originally a northern suburb across the Missouri River from Kansas City, it is now almost completely surrounded by Kansas City, which has annexed far to the north of North Kansas City's northern city limits. North Kansas City also adjoins the small municipality of Avondale.

North Kansas City High School (also known as NKCHS, NKC, and Northtown) is a high school in North Kansas City, Missouri, United States, with over 1,900 students enrolled. It is a part of the North Kansas City School District. The first graduating class found of record was in 1917 with three known graduates. The school began as an all-white school, due to the inhabitants of the community, and is now one of the most diverse and integrated schools in the nation.Since July 2001, Northtown has been an International Baccalaureate World School with Dr. Jane Reed as the program coordinator.Its boundary includes North Kansas City, Avondale, and portions of Gladstone south of NW Englewood Road.

Armour Theatre Building is a historic theatre building located at North Kansas City, Missouri. It was designed by the architectural firm Keene & Simpson and built in 1928. It is a two-story, polychromatic brick building with Spanish Eclectic style design elements. It features a Mission tile roof, arched fenestration and decorative tiles, and glazed terra cotta detailing. The building houses the theater, community rooms, and offices.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Wheeling Corrugating Company Building, also known as Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP), is a historic factory building located at North Kansas City, Missouri. It was built in 1920, and is a five-story, six bay, rectangular reinforced concrete building faced in brick with cut stone trim. A one-story, concrete block addition was built about 1950.: 5  It produced corrugated galvanised iron for roofing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Paseo Bridge was a suspension bridge over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri. Before being replaced by the Christopher S. Bond Bridge, it carried Interstates 29 and 35 and U.S. Route 71 over the river. It was named for The Paseo, a boulevard that connected with the bridge to the south, and continues to do so with the Bond Bridge.

CPKC Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium being built in Kansas City, Missouri, for the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League, who currently play home games at Children's Mercy Park. The stadium is scheduled to be completed and opened by March 2024. Once completed, it will be the first privately financed stadium purpose-built exclusively for a professional women's soccer team.

The Heart of America Bridge is a vehicular girder bridge over the Missouri River, in Kansas City, Missouri. It carries Route 9. It was the vehicular replacement for the upper level of the ASB Bridge, and runs next to it a few hundred yards downstream. It was opened in 1987. In September 2010, a bi-directional bicycle and pedestrian path, separated from motorized traffic, was opened on the northbound span of the Heart of America Bridge. It is the first separated pedestrian crossing of the Missouri River in the Kansas City area. The Engineer of Record for this project is Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company.
