The Paseo Bridge was a suspension bridge over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri. Before being replaced by the Christopher S. Bond Bridge, it carried Interstates 29 and 35 and U.S. Route 71 over the river. It was named for The Paseo, a boulevard that connected with the bridge to the south, and continues to do so with the Bond Bridge.

The Holy Rosary Historic District in Kansas City, Missouri is a 2.7-acre (1.1 ha) area of the Columbus Park neighborhood centering on the Holy Rosary Church built in 1898. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The Heart of America Bridge is a vehicular girder bridge over the Missouri River, in Kansas City, Missouri. It carries Route 9. It was the vehicular replacement for the upper level of the ASB Bridge, and runs next to it a few hundred yards downstream. It was opened in 1987. In September 2010, a bi-directional bicycle and pedestrian path, separated from motorized traffic, was opened on the northbound span of the Heart of America Bridge. It is the first separated pedestrian crossing of the Missouri River in the Kansas City area. The Engineer of Record for this project is Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company.

The Armour-Swift-Burlington (ASB) Bridge, also known as the North Kansas City Bridge and the LRC Bridge, is a rail crossing over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri, that formerly handled automobile traffic.

The Kansas City Cold Storage Company Building in Kansas City, Missouri is a building from 1922. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Wheeling Corrugating Company Building, also known as Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP), is a historic factory building located at North Kansas City, Missouri. It was built in 1920, and is a five-story, six bay, rectangular reinforced concrete building faced in brick with cut stone trim. A one-story, concrete block addition was built about 1950.: 5  It produced corrugated galvanised iron for roofing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Pendleton Heights is a historic neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It is near the downtown highway loop, between Paseo and Chestnut Trafficway to the west and east, and Independence Avenue and Cliff Drive to the south and north. As a historic district of Kansas City, Pendleton Heights is the second oldest specifically residentially-designed neighborhood, after Quality Hill. It is Kansas City's first developed suburb, platted in the late nineteenth century from what had been the 200-acre (0.81 km2) Jones Farm. The neighborhood has three city parks (North Terrace Park, Independence Plaza Park, and Maple Park), the original city reservoir, one of the two nationally listed urban scenic byways, and the largest number of true Victorian homes in the city. Architectural styles include "Traditional Victorian", American Craftsman, American Foursquare, Italianate, Eastlake, Shingle-Style, Richardsonian Romanesque, "Folk Victorian", "Kansas City Shirtwaist", Beaux Arts, and grand Queen Anne. Tiffany Castle is a 1909 landmark home on the bluffs overlooking the East Bottoms and the Missouri River below. The Philip E. Chappell house at 1836 Pendleton Avenue entered the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The Pendleton Heights Community Garden was launched in early 2013. This project is in partnership with PHNA, Kansas City Community Gardens, and MU Extension. Residents can lease plots for personal gardening or can work in community plots in exchange for a share of the harvest. In 2013, PHNA and KC Parks & Recreation planned an orchard on the vacant lot at Lexington and Montgall, to provide fresh fruit and nuts. The selected tree varieties have been grown in Northeast Kansas City since 1860, including peach, apple, fig, pecan, pawpaw, and serviceberry. Jerusalem Farm is a Catholic intentional community, offering weekly residential curbside composting. Schools include Scuola Vita Nuova Charter School, Garfield Elementary School, and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. The annual Holiday Homes Tour and Artist Market is on the first Saturday of December. Select Victorian homes decorated for the holiday season are open for tour, and neighborhood artist booths have items for sale. In 2013, Pendleton Heights was featured by This Old House as one of the "Best Old House Neighborhoods in the US".

The Kessler Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri were built in 1925. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 22, 2002 as part of a group of buildings on the north end of Paseo Boulevard.

The Masonic Temple in Kansas City, Missouri is a Neo-Classical Architecture building in the Beaux-Arts architecture tradition. Designed by J.C. Sunderland, the Masonic Cornerstone was laid October 8, 1910 and the building held a public dedication ceremony on September 30, 1911.Harry S. Truman and Bess Truman danced in the 6,600 square foot Tiffany Ballroom which prominently features plaster columns and an impressive Tiffany glass window array.The Kansas City Masonic Temple was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and as a film location with the Missouri Film Commission in 2013. A restoration project was launched in 2017 to restore and preserve the building for future generations.

The Arabia Steamboat Museum is a history museum in Kansas City, Missouri, housing artifacts salvaged from the Arabia, a steamboat that sank in the Missouri River in 1856. The 30,000-square-foot museum opened on November 13, 1991, in the Kansas City River Market. The partners of River Salvage Inc., who excavated the Arabia and opened the museum, claim to have the largest single collection of pre-Civil War artifacts in the world.

North Kansas City is a city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. It is also enclaved in Kansas City. Even though the name is similar to its larger counterpart, Kansas City, it is an independent municipality part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The population was 4,467 at the 2020 census. Originally a northern suburb across the Missouri River from Kansas City, it is now almost completely surrounded by Kansas City, which has annexed far to the north of North Kansas City's northern city limits. North Kansas City also adjoins the small municipality of Avondale.

The United States Courthouse and Post Office, also known as Federal Courts Building, is a historic courthouse and post office located at Kansas City in Jackson County, Missouri. It was formerly the courthouse of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
