Barrow Clump

Ablington is a small village in the English county of Wiltshire, on the River Avon, close to the village of Figheldean and about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north of the town of Amesbury. Barrow Clump, a prehistoric site re-used as a burial ground for an Anglo-Saxon village, is some 700 metres east of Ablington.The settlement was recorded as Alboldintone in the Domesday Book. Ablington farmhouse is an 18th-century thatched building, extended in c. 1880 and at later dates.For local government purposes, Ablington is part of Figheldean civil parish.

Netheravon Airfield is a Ministry of Defence grass strip airfield on Salisbury Plain, in Wiltshire, England. Established in 1913 by the Royal Flying Corps, it became RAF Netheravon from 1918 until 1963, then AAC Netheravon (Army Air Corps) until 2012. Buildings from 1913 and 1914 survive on part of the site. The site forms part of the Tidworth, Netheravon and Bulford (TidNBul) Garrison.

The Bulford Camp army base is separate from the village but within the parish. The Salisbury Avon forms the western boundary of the parish, and the village is near the confluence of the Nine Mile River with the Avon. The Bulford Kiwi – a large chalk representation of a kiwi – is on a hill above the village.

At about halfway through its course, still in the parish of Milston, it is joined by the small Damson Brook.

Damson Brook is a small river in Wiltshire, United Kingdom. It rises in the civil parish of Bulford, just north of Bulford Camp. After two miles it joins Nine Mile River in the civil parish of Milston, which in turn flows into the River Avon. According to local legend, Guinevere had her baby son baptised in this brook.
