West Hartford Bridge

West Hartford is an unincorporated community village in the town of Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont. It is one of Hartford's five villages, situated on the White River and crossed by the Appalachian Trail. West Hartford no longer has a post office, but still has a local library, and a town park. The White River, is a nearby fishing site. The village's center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the West Hartford Village Historic District.

The Jericho Rural Historic District encompasses a rural agricultural landscape of northern Hartford, Vermont, extending slightly into neighboring Norwich. The area covers 774 acres (313 ha) of mainly agricultural and formerly agricultural lands, as well as associated woodlots, and includes nine historically significant farm complexes. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Quechee Ski Area is a small ski mountain in Quechee, Vermont, United States. The mountain has 13 trails and 3 lifts: 1 quadruple chairlift, 1 T-bar and 1 H-tow. The main lift, "Quadzilla" services the top of the ski area, going from an altitude of 640 feet to 1,220 feet, for a vertical drop of 580 feet; the rope tow and t-bar are part of the beginner area. It is a part of the Quechee Club.

The Joseph and Daniel Marsh House is a historic farmstead at 1119 Quechee Main Street, just outside the village Quechee in Hartford, Vermont. Built in 1793, it was the home of Joseph Marsh, one of Hartford's early settlers and the first Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. Now the Quechee Inn, the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Quechee Historic Mill District encompasses the historic heart of the village of Quechee, Vermont, a well-preserved 19th-century mill village. Extending along Quechee Main Street between the Old Quechee Road and the Quechee-West Hartford Road, the village was settled in the 1760s, and has an industrial history extending into the 20th century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Theron Boyd Homestead is a historic farm property on Hillside Road in Hartford, Vermont. The centerpieces of the 30-acre (12 ha) property are a house and barn, each built in 1786. The house, little altered since its construction, is one of the finest early Federal period houses in the state. The property is owned by the state, which has formulated plans to open it has a historic site. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Sharon is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States. It had a population of 1,560 at the 2020 census.Sharon is the birthplace of Joseph Smith, founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, and as such is an important historical site for members of that religion. The town is also home to The Sharon Academy, an independent middle and high school.

Quechee is a census-designated place and one of five unincorporated villages in the town of Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 656. It is the site of Quechee Gorge on the Ottauquechee River and is also the home to the Quechee Lakes planned community, initiated in the late 1960s, which also brought to the community the small Quechee Lakes Ski Area in the 1970s. Quechee was known for a picturesque covered bridge at the site of the old Quechee mill, which now houses the Simon Pearce glass-blowing facility and restaurant. The bridge was severely damaged by flooding caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011. The bridge has since been rebuilt. Quechee has a small branch post office with zip code 05059. The region was historically inhabited by tribes of the Abenaki people; evidence exists of an ancient Abenaki village at the site of Quechee, in addition to more recent Abenaki settlements and activity throughout Hartford.

The Beaver Meadow Union Chapel, now also known as the West Norwich Union Church, is a historic church on the north side of Beaver Meadow Road in Norwich, Vermont. Built in 1915, it is a well-preserved example of vernacular ecclesiastical architecture of the period. It is of national significance as the origin point of the Home Prayers program, essentially a mail-order ministry inspired by the catalogs of Sears, Roebuck. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Mid Vermont Christian School (MVCS) is a Christian PK-12 school in Quechee, Vermont (despite having a White River Junction postal address). In 1999 Cassie Horner of The Windsor Chronicle described the school as "intentionally non-denominational".In 2005 Jessica T. Lee of the Valley News described the school as "tight-knit".In 2023 MVCS forfeited a basketball tournament when the school refused to play against a team with a trans athlete on the roster. The school was subsequently banned from all State tournaments for violating Vermont’s anti-discrimination policies. MVCS responded by filing a federal lawsuit alleging infringement of religious freedoms.
