Jericho Rural Historic District

Hartford is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States. It is on the New Hampshire border, at the intersection of Interstates 89 and 91. It is the site of the confluence of the White and Connecticut rivers; the Ottauquechee River also flows through the town. The town is composed of five unincorporated villages: Hartford, Quechee, West Hartford, White River Junction and Wilder. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,686.

West Hartford is an unincorporated community village in the town of Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont. It is one of Hartford's five villages, situated on the White River and crossed by the Appalachian Trail. West Hartford no longer has a post office, but still has a local library, and a town park. The White River, is a nearby fishing site. The village's center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the West Hartford Village Historic District.

The West Hartford Bridge is a steel deck girder bridge carrying Town Highway 14 (the Quechee-West Hartford Road) across the White River in the village of West Hartford, Vermont. It was built by the town with state assistance in 2006, replacing a Parker through truss bridge built by the state after Vermont's devastating 1927 floods. The 1929 bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Hartford Library is the public library serving the village of Hartford, Vermont. It is located at 1587 Maple Street, in an architecturally distinguished Queen Anne/Colonial Revival building constructed in 1893. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Hartford is one of five unincorporated villages in the town of Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont, United States. It is also referred to as Hartford Village. For the 2020 census it was listed as a census-designated place, with a population of 754, out of 10,686 in the entire town of Hartford. Hartford is the birthplace of Horace Wells, the first dentist to use nitrous oxide or "laughing gas" as anesthesia.

The Windsor-6-2 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Windsor-6-2 District includes that part of the Windsor County town of Hartford not included in Windsor-6-1. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Windsor-6-2 District had a population of 8,098 in that same census, 0.25% below the state average.

The Christian Street Rural Historic District encompasses the surviving elements of an early settlement village in the town of Hartford, Vermont. Centered on the junction of Christian Street (United States Route 5) and Jericho Street in northeastern Hartford, the area includes a modest number of 18th and 19th-century houses, as well as two farms that have been in the same families since the 18th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Norwich Mid-Century Modern Historic District encompasses a concentrated collection of Mid-Century Modern houses in Norwich, Vermont. Located on parts of Hopson, Pine Tree, and Spring Pond Roads, it is one of best collections of this type in the state. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

WWOD (93.9 FM) is an adult album alternative broadcasting radio station. Licensed to Woodstock, Vermont, United States, the station serves the Lebanon-Rutland-White River Junction area. Established in 1989 as WMXR, the station is owned by Great Eastern Radio, LLC.

The Beaver Meadow School is a historic school building at 246 Chapel Hill Road in Norwich, Vermont. Built in 1922, it is a rare late example of a one-room schoolhouse, made further distinctive by the survival of its original schoolroom interior. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Beaver Meadow Union Chapel, now also known as the West Norwich Union Church, is a historic church on the north side of Beaver Meadow Road in Norwich, Vermont. Built in 1915, it is a well-preserved example of vernacular ecclesiastical architecture of the period. It is of national significance as the origin point of the Home Prayers program, essentially a mail-order ministry inspired by the catalogs of Sears, Roebuck. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Brigham Hill Historic District encompasses a rural 19th-century landscape in central Norwich, Vermont. It includes three late 18th or early 19th century farmsteads, all associated with the Brigham family, whose progenitor, Paul Brigham, was prominent in Vermont politics. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
