The Cathedral of the Incarnation, located at 2015 West End Avenue in Nashville, Tennessee, is the cathedral seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nashville. It is named after the mystery of the Incarnation, which celebrates the miraculous conception of Jesus in the womb of the Virgin Mary, by which God became man according to Christian teaching. There have been three cathedral churches in Nashville. The first was the Holy Rosary Cathedral, which is now demolished, and which occupied the site of what is now the Tennessee State Capitol. The second was Saint Mary's Cathedral, which still stands on the corner of Fifth and Church Streets. Construction of the Cathedral of the Incarnation began in 1910 under the direction of Bishop Thomas Sebastian Byrne. It was completed and dedicated July 26, 1914. The church has undergone three major renovations, one in 1937, another in 1987, and the most recent which began in March 2019. The 1987 renovation was supervised by Father Richard S. Vosko, a liturgical design consultant and priest of the Diocese of Albany who has overseen the redesign and renovation of numerous churches and cathedrals around the country. The 2019 renovation was begun by Father Edward Steiner and is being completed by Father Eric Fowlkes. The church's architecture is modeled after the traditional Roman basilica, specifically the basilica San Martino ai Monti in Rome. The primary architect was Fred Asmus.

Palmer Plaza is a 269-foot 18-story office skyscraper in Nashville, Tennessee. It is named after the company who built it and is headquartered there, Alex S. Palmer & Company. The building features a fitness center on its rooftop. The ninth floor of the building is home to the Consulate-General of Japan, Nashville.

Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown is operated by Ascension Health, which also operates Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Saint Thomas - Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Saint Thomas Hickman Hospital in Centerville, Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Saint Thomas Dekalb Hospital in Smithville, Saint Thomas Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, and Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta.

Skyhouse is a 25-story rental apartment building located at 17th Avenue South and Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee. The building was developed jointly by Atlanta-based companies Novare Group and Batson-Cook Development, with Batson-Cook Construction as general contractor. There are 352 units with 10,600 sq ft of ground level retail space.

Vanderbilt University Law School (also known as VLS) is a graduate school of Vanderbilt University. Established in 1874, it is one of the oldest law schools in the southern United States. Vanderbilt Law enrolls approximately 640 students, with each entering Juris Doctor class consisting of approximately 175 students. According to Vanderbilt Law School's 2020 ABA-required disclosures, 84.44% of the Class of 2020 obtained full-time, long-term, bar examination passage-required employment nine months after graduation, excluding solo practitioners. The dean of the law school is Chris Guthrie, who began his third five-year appointment as dean on July 1, 2019.

The Thomas W. Phillips Memorial is a historic building in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, owned by Vanderbilt University. It was home to the Disciples of Christ Historical Society until the building was purchased by Vanderbilt in 2015. It was built in 1956. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 9, 2006.

The Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management is the graduate business school of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Founded in 1969, Owen offers six degrees: a standard 2-year Master of Business Administration (MBA), an Executive MBA, Master of Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy-Valuation, and Master of Management in Health Care, as well as a variety of joint professional and MBA degree programs. Owen also offers non-degree programs for undergraduates and professionals. The student to faculty ratio is about 9 to 1, with 577 students and 49 full-time faculty members.The school is named for Ralph “Peck” Owen and his wife, Lulu Hampton Owen. Ralph Owen, a Vanderbilt alumnus (’28), was a founder of Equitable Securities Corporation in Nashville, and he became the chairman of the American Express Company.

Lake Palmer was a man-made lake in Nashville between 16th Ave and 17th Ave, south of Hayes St and north of West End Ave. This was the proposed location of a long-mooted mixed-use construction project near downtown Nashville that failed to materialize for over ten years. Conceived by Nashville-based Alex S. Palmer & Company, the project was originally planned to open in 2007 as the West End Summit, a $300 million project for office space and apartments. Excavation initially started in 2005, but the project stalled as the developer attempted to cope with the credit crunch and sought an anchor tenant for the office portion of the project. The resulting lake was a source of water for swimming pools and country clubs during water restrictions following the 2010 Tennessee floods. The construction proposal was relaunched in September, 2012 with news that Nashville-headquartered Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) had signed leases to occupy two office towers on the site. In addition to the office towers, an InterContinental Hotel was planned as part of the development. After plans stalled, the property was sold to Propst Development in March, 2018.The site remained a massive, block-long excavation that was commonly called Lake Palmer, as this 85-foot-deep (26 m) hole was mostly filled with water. As of September 2019, the lake was still visible on Google Maps and labelled as Lake Palmer.
