Longleaf School of the Arts is a college preparatory charter high school in Raleigh, North Carolina, established in 2013. The school enrolls incoming freshman, sophomores and juniors. Longleaf has 400+ students as of the 2022–2023 school year with a roster of 20+ full-time teachers. Longleaf's offered arts include: Visual Art, Literary Arts, Dance, Chorus, Band, Orchestra, and Theatre. The foreign languages offered are French and Spanish.

Dr. Elmo N. Lawrence House is a historic home located near Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1922, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, five-bay, Bungalow / American Craftsman-style dwelling built of concrete block and coated in cement stucco. It has a side-gable roof with shed dormers. Also on the property is a contributing garage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Vernon Malone College and Career Academy (VMCCA), is one of the flagship schools of Wake County Public School System. It is an application-based early college in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The building was formerly a Coca-Cola bottling plant before being renovated to its current configuration.: It was first opened in 2014 as a career and technical education institution focusing on college and career readiness. It has six programs offered to students through Wake Technical Community College which include; Biopharmaceutical Technology, Cosmetology, Multi-Trades/Facilities Technology, Nurse Aide, Simulation and Game Development, and Welding. The school is formally a part of the Wake County Public School System. Their official mascot is a Silverhawk.

Downtown South is a proposed 140-acre (57 ha) real estate development by Kane Realty located to the south of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Anchored by a soccer stadium and VR center, the US$2.2 billion project could feature as many as 23 high-rise structures with office, residential, hotel, and retail spaces. The first phase is expected to start construction in 2023 with the construction of a 24-story apartment building and 27-story office tower. Later phases could include buildings as tall as 40 stories.In the event Raleigh wins the bid for the 2029 World University Games, it is likely that some events will be hosted at the Downtown South development. In addition, office space, hotel space, conference rooms, and the VR facility may be used for supporting infrastructure.

WCLY (1550 AM; "The Buzz") is a radio station located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is owned by Capitol Broadcasting Company along with sister radio stations WRAL-FM, WCMC-FM and WDNC, and television stations WRAL-TV and WRAZ-TV. Its studios are located in Raleigh, and the transmitter tower is just south of downtown Raleigh. Established in 1962 as WNOH, WCLY broadcasts a sports radio format, simulcasting sister stations 620 WDNC and 99.9 WCMC-HD2.

Yates Mill is a fully restored, circa 1756 gristmill located five miles (8 km) south of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. It is the centerpiece of Historic Yates Mill County Park, in central Wake County. The park features the restored mill; a visitor center with a museum focused on milling and on the natural history of the area, classrooms, an auditorium and space for research conducted by North Carolina State University faculty and students; a 20-acre (81,000 m2) lake; and extensive hiking trails. The park is managed as a native wildlife refuge with a mission to study and interpret the park's cultural, natural and agricultural heritage.

Caraleigh Mills, also known as the Fred Whitaker Company, is a historic textile mill located at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. The original section was built in 1892, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick structure with an intact monitor roof and a raised stone foundation. The building had an expansion added about 1900, an addition built about 1910, a wing and warehouse added about 1919, and a modernization in the late 1950s. The mill operated until 1999, and is one of three remaining late-19th century textile mills in Raleigh.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.The mill has been converted to residential use as condominiums. The 84 units became available for sale and occupancy in 2003. The name Caraleigh Mills was preserved.

Wake County Speedway "America's Favorite Bullring" is a quarter-mile NASCAR Sanctioned asphalt race track located in Raleigh, NC. The track holds stock car races on alternating Friday nights from April to September. As of the 2024 racing season, Wake County Speedway has seven main classes of race cars which include Late Model Stocks, Chargers, Legends, Mini Stocks, Bandoleros, Bombers and Champ Karts. The track also has special appearances from USAC, East Coast Flathead Fords, and the CARS Tour.

Raleigh Water Works and E.B. Bain Water Treatment Plant is a historic water works complex located at Raleigh, North Carolina. The original section was built in 1941, with additions made about 1946–1947, and in the 1960s. The complex includes the shell of the original one-story, brick pump house (1887 with 1923 alterations); the one-story, brick filter house (1887); and the Art Deco treatment plant (1939-1940) with adjacent settling basins. The main block of the treatment plant is a three-story, three-bay wide mass topped by a hipped, battened metal roof, with flanking stepped back two-story sections. Also on the property are three storage reservoirs for treated water, dating from 1887, 1940 and the 1950s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Lonnie Poole Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States.

Herman Green House is a historic home located south of Raleigh in Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1911, and is a two-story, three-bay, Colonial Revival-style frame dwelling with a slate hipped roof. It is sheathed in weatherboard and has a one-story rear kitchen ell. It features a one-story, hip roof wraparound porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
