The Beaux-Arts de Paris is a French grande école whose primary mission is to provide high-level arts education and training. This is classical and historical School of Fine Arts in France. The art school, which is part of the Paris Sciences et Lettres University, is located on two sites: Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, and Saint-Ouen. The Parisian institution is made up of a complex of buildings located at 14 rue Bonaparte, between the quai Malaquais and the rue Bonaparte. This is in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, just across the Seine from the Louvre museum. The school was founded in 1648 by Charles Le Brun as the famed French academy Académie de peinture et de sculpture. In 1793, at the height of the French Revolution, the institutes were suppressed. However, in 1817, following the Bourbon Restoration, it was revived under a changed name after merging with the Académie d'architecture. Held under the King's tutelage until 1863, an imperial decree on November 13, 1863 named the school's director, who serves for a five-year term. Long supervised by the Ministry of Public Instruction, the École des Beaux-Arts is now a public establishment under the Ministry of Culture.

The Musée d'Anatomie Delmas-Orfila-Rouvière was a museum of anatomy formerly located on the eighth floor of the Faculty of Medicine, Paris V René Descartes University, 45, rue des Saints-Pères, 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was the largest anatomy museum in France. It was closed around 2005, with all its exhibits going into storage. In 2011 the collections were donated to the University of Montpellier and are on display in the Medical School.

École des Beaux-Arts (French pronunciation: ​[ekɔl de boz‿aʁ]; French for 'School of Fine Arts') refers to a number of influential art schools in France. The term is associated with the Beaux-Arts style in architecture and city planning that thrived in France and other countries during the late nineteenth century and the first quarter of the twentieth century.The most famous and oldest École des Beaux-Arts is the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, now located on the city's left bank across from the Louvre, at 14 rue Bonaparte (in the 6th arrondissement). The school has a history spanning more than 350 years, training many of the great artists in Europe. Beaux-Arts style was modeled on classical "antiquities", preserving these idealized forms and passing the style on to future generations.

The Hôtel de Chimay, originally the Hôtel de La Bazinière, is a hôtel particulier, a type of large townhouse of France, built in 1635 on a site that is now at 17 quai Malaquais in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Since 1883, it has been an extension of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, a distinguished National School of Fine Arts.

Situated at 16 rue Bonaparte in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, the Académie nationale de médecine (National Academy of Medicine) was created in 1820 by King Louis XVIII at the urging of baron Antoine Portal. At its inception, the institution was known as the Académie royale de médecine (or Royal Academy of Medicine). This academy was endowed with the legal status of two institutions which preceded it — the Académie royale de chirurgie (or Royal Academy of Surgery), which was created in 1731 and of the Société royale de médecine (or Royal Society of Medicine), which was created in 1776.

The Pont du Carrousel (French pronunciation: ​[pɔ̃ dy kaʁuzɛl]) is a bridge in Paris, which spans the River Seine between the Quai des Tuileries and the Quai Voltaire.

The Quai Voltaire is a street located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. 308 meters long, it lies between the Quai Malaquais and Quai Anatole-France. The Quai Voltaire begins at the Rue des Saints-Pères and ends at the Rue de Bac and the Pont Royal.

The Musée des Monuments français was a French art museum, created in 1795 on the initiative of Alexandre Lenoir. It displayed sculptures and other objects, many salvaged on Lenoir's own initiative from the destructions of the French Revolution. It was established in the former convent of the Petits-Augustins on the left bank of the Seine in Paris, now part of the campus of the Beaux-Arts de Paris.

Saints-Pères Cemetery (cimetière des Saints-Pères) is a historic cemetery in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, sited at what is now 30 rue des Saints-Pères. After being forced to give up the Saint-Germain Cemetery in 1604, the Protestants of Paris bought a rectangular garden on the moulin du Pré-aux-Clercs mound on rue des Saints-Pères from Joachim Meurier, a master goldsmith from Île de la Cité. It was roughly 13 toise (24 m) by 23 toise (42 m). The first burials were on 21 March 1604 and the cemetery was used up until the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685, after which it was renamed Charité Cemetery (cimetière de la Charité) and used by the Hôpital de la Charité. It was enclosed by a 3m high wall and received at least one body a day. Like all the inner-city cemeteries, it was closed in 1785 by order of the inspector general of quarries Charles-Axel Guillaumot - the contents of its tombs and charnel houses and its burials at a depth of at least 100m were transferred to the new Catacombs of Paris, a set of re-used quarries on what is now Rue de la Tombe-Issoire.

The Saint-Germain Cemetery (cimetière Saint-Germain) or Saint-Pierre Cemetery (cimetière Saint-Pierre) was a rectangular cemetery in Paris, first attested in 1259 (1259) and used by Protestants from 1598 to 1604 onwards. It was sited in the north-west corner of the former rue Taranne and rue des Saints-Pères, alongside the chapelle des Saint-Pères (on the site now occupied by square de la Charité at 186 boulevard Saint-Germain. It measured 27 toise by 8 toise (54 by 16 m (177 by 52 ft)). Its site is now covered by Square Taras-Chevtchenko. Owned by the parish of Saint-Sulpice, it was used for plague victims and lepers until 1544. Article 45 of the Edict of Nantes noted it as one of two Protestant cemeteries in Paris (the other was La Trinité Cemetery). The parish council required them to leave it in 1604 and they moved to the nearby Saints-Pères Cemetery. The Hôpital de la Charité briefly used the cemetery from 1604 to 1609.

The Hôtel du Plessis-Guénégaud was a French aristocratic townhouse (hôtel particulier), built 1630–1632 for the financier Louis Le Barbier to the designs of architect Clément Métezeau. It was located at what is now 13 Quai Malaquais in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. The hôtel was demolished in 1843.

The Club Saint-Germain was a jazz club located at 13 rue Saint-Benoît in the 6e arrondissement de Paris.
