The Saint-Germain Cemetery (cimetière Saint-Germain) or Saint-Pierre Cemetery (cimetière Saint-Pierre) was a rectangular cemetery in Paris, first attested in 1259 (1259) and used by Protestants from 1598 to 1604 onwards. It was sited in the north-west corner of the former rue Taranne and rue des Saints-Pères, alongside the chapelle des Saint-Pères (on the site now occupied by square de la Charité at 186 boulevard Saint-Germain. It measured 27 toise by 8 toise (54 by 16 m (177 by 52 ft)). Its site is now covered by Square Taras-Chevtchenko. Owned by the parish of Saint-Sulpice, it was used for plague victims and lepers until 1544. Article 45 of the Edict of Nantes noted it as one of two Protestant cemeteries in Paris (the other was La Trinité Cemetery). The parish council required them to leave it in 1604 and they moved to the nearby Saints-Pères Cemetery. The Hôpital de la Charité briefly used the cemetery from 1604 to 1609.

Saints-Pères Cemetery (cimetière des Saints-Pères) is a historic cemetery in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, sited at what is now 30 rue des Saints-Pères. After being forced to give up the Saint-Germain Cemetery in 1604, the Protestants of Paris bought a rectangular garden on the moulin du Pré-aux-Clercs mound on rue des Saints-Pères from Joachim Meurier, a master goldsmith from Île de la Cité. It was roughly 13 toise (24 m) by 23 toise (42 m). The first burials were on 21 March 1604 and the cemetery was used up until the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685, after which it was renamed Charité Cemetery (cimetière de la Charité) and used by the Hôpital de la Charité. It was enclosed by a 3m high wall and received at least one body a day. Like all the inner-city cemeteries, it was closed in 1785 by order of the inspector general of quarries Charles-Axel Guillaumot - the contents of its tombs and charnel houses and its burials at a depth of at least 100m were transferred to the new Catacombs of Paris, a set of re-used quarries on what is now Rue de la Tombe-Issoire.

These artists are generally singers, impersonators, comedians, chansonniers or ventriloquists. They follow each other on stage at a rapid pace (about every twenty minutes), except the star-artist who performs longer after the meal.

The Eparchy of Saint Vladimir the Great of Paris (French: Éparchie Saint Vladimir-le-Grand de Paris des Ukrainiens) is a eparchy France, Belgium, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The former eparch Borys Gudziak was appointed as Archeparch of Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia on 4 February 2019, while Hlib Lonchyna, Eparch of Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London was appointed as apostolic administrator. Lonchyna resigned as the Eparch of the Holy Family in London on 1 September 2019, replaced by Kenneth Nowakowski in 2020.

The Cathedral of Saint Volodymyr the Great (French: Cathédrale Saint-Volodymyr-le-Grand, Ukrainian: Собор святого Володимира Великого), in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, is the cathedral church of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saint Wladimir-Le-Grand de Paris in France. The eparchial bishop of the eparchy has been Borys Gudziak since 2012.

The Beaux-Arts de Paris is a French grande école whose primary mission is to provide high-level arts education and training. This is classical and historical School of Fine Arts in France. The art school, which is part of the Paris Sciences et Lettres University, is located on two sites: Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris, and Saint-Ouen. The Parisian institution is made up of a complex of buildings located at 14 rue Bonaparte, between the quai Malaquais and the rue Bonaparte. This is in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, just across the Seine from the Louvre museum. The school was founded in 1648 by Charles Le Brun as the famed French academy Académie de peinture et de sculpture. In 1793, at the height of the French Revolution, the institutes were suppressed. However, in 1817, following the Bourbon Restoration, it was revived under a changed name after merging with the Académie d'architecture. Held under the King's tutelage until 1863, an imperial decree on November 13, 1863 named the school's director, who serves for a five-year term. Long supervised by the Ministry of Public Instruction, the École des Beaux-Arts is now a public establishment under the Ministry of Culture.

The term is associated with the Beaux-Arts style in architecture and city planning that thrived in France and other countries during the late nineteenth century and the first quarter of the twentieth century.The most famous and oldest École des Beaux-Arts is the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, now located on the city's left bank across from the Louvre, at 14 rue Bonaparte (in the 6th arrondissement). The school has a history spanning more than 350 years, training many of the great artists in Europe. Beaux-Arts style was modeled on classical "antiquities", preserving these idealized forms and passing the style on to future generations.

The Café de Flore (French pronunciation: ​[kafe də flɔʁ]) is one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris, celebrated for its famous clientele, which in the past included high-profile writers and philosophers. It is located at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Benoît, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the 6th arrondissement. The nearest underground station is Saint-Germain-des-Prés, served by line 4 of Paris Métro. The coffeehouse still remains a popular hang-out spot for celebrities and its status attracts numerous tourists.
